Never use Apple Maps for navigation.

Unless your in the US, Apple maps is generally useless.

I use it all the time. It got me to Poland and back via Arnhem in March, and then all over Normandy this summer.

I've had Google maps give me ridiculous routing too, so this is hardly unique to Apple Maps.
People who really really really like Apple.

Were you trying to go from London to Brighton then?
But even then Google maps or Waze are still far better.
Seems like I wasn’t the only one recommended this silly route

I tried Apple Maps in Corfu Greece last year, it wanted to take me from Corfu town to my resort about 10 miles away via a ferry to Albania!?!

I bet there are people that blindly follow things like this though.
This was a good few years ago but talking to a guy who had taken his kids to thorpe park and we used to live in north London.
He was explaining how it was such a long way and had to pay for the Dartford tunnel.
The bell end had gone the wrong way around the M25, twice........

The other week, returning from Scotland, Google maps routed me off the M6 because someone had been threatening to jump off a bridge at J33 and the resultant chaos hadn't yet cleared.
Unfortunately, it routed me off at J35 and back on at J34. So it just added 30 minutes of zigzagging across the motorway (which, every time we crossed it, I could see was running fairly well at that point), and then re-joined the M6 just in time to hit the actual jam.
I was a bit narked at that.
