dont agree with that, i reckon starcraft was better for multiplayer and warcraft for single...

My first generation 2.0Ghz CoreDuo (Yonah) Macbook with 2GB RAM runs WoW quite well, it slows down when you have lots of people around (30+) such as in a big city but you don't hang around there a lot, questing is fine.

You can't beat some of the older games. At work I've been playing Monkey Island 1 & 2, and I've totally forgot how addictive they are.

WC 3 is a quality game, still play it online quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing starcraft 2.

Oh yeah dungeon keeper is ace, shame I don't think you can play it on vista, not properly at least.

There were a few mods around for Marathon, one of the best being Damage Incorporated - it came free on a Mac magazine CD - I'll have to see if I can download it anywhere!

Honestly if I could find that game again, I'd stick my old OS 7.5 cd's in and VPC it up

recently i've had to buy Starcraft and brood wars for the third time.

the first time, i bought them in the original big boxes, but in those days i gamed on a mac, so i can't use them now.
because of that i bought it for PC, but have lost the disks since!

so, last week i had to buy it again. thankfully it was just shy of £5, including postage the first and second times!

Try and get Uplink. Was a decent "hacker" game for low-end graphics systems and a lot of fun too.

Originally written for Windows 3.1 IIRC, and then with a Win95 front end added. But DK2 works just fine on Vista.
