Maybe look into prestige chauffering? I know a guy who runs a chauffering firm and makes an absolute bomb. In fact he's just retired to France while his firm ticks over. Top end of the market won't care what they pay for their journeys...

I travel in taxis almost daily in my job from my offices to my clients. Everytime without fail, taxi drivers are moaning that the fuel price hikes will finish them. Many of them have quoted £50+ per week increase in diesel alone.

One even told me that his taxi hire/lease was £200 per week so he needed £200 + fuel + 4x MOT's + tax + whatever else before he breaks even.

Ouch!
 
My mate just had an lpg conversion on his taxi to save some cash although it did cost £1200 to get done. I know he claims the tax back on his fuel as well because he is self employed so that helps too.
