Are you bulking? If so it's ok, but I would have a shake straight after the gym as well even if that bumps you up over 200g total protein.

I also don't particularly like all the small meals of protein, like getting 9.1g from your 10:00 porridge and banana meal. I personally don't count protein unless it comes from meat, milk (including cheese) or beans/legumes/etc., otherwise it's much less likely to have a good amino acid profile.

But really I'm nit-picking and it looks pretty good, unless you're cutting.

I've just started IF from BennyC's recommendation.......... First meal at noon, and by gum my belly feels like it's about to explode. So much food in there, it's just not big enough! My next poo shall be epic, a story retold from generation to generation I reckon.................

Reporting back:
How disappointing. I can only assume that this was merely part 1.......... Perhaps the epilogue to the real bowel movements, something to set the scene, establish the character and let the viewers know what is truly at stake. I'm hoping for an epic climax in Part 2: Revenge of the Poo.

Grabs popcorn.

Start a journal. Not for the poo but to see how you get on with IF as you're aim is to cut where as mine was to lean out gradually whilst increasing mass.

Yeah I think I may do, will weigh myself tonight, get some pictures up and maybe stick up a thread. Thing is I know I'm not overweight or anything, I'm just aiming to get the abs out and get the excess fat shifted off my pecs, as I reckon I've got a decent bit of muscle under there somewhere, beyond the squidgy stuff.

This is the first time I've started a calorie count and macromanagement etc, so it's all a bit new to me!

Definitely get a thread going it will be good to see some more results of IF, its something I'm quite interested in as a lot of days its how I end up eating anyway.

Arhhh forgive me for i have sinned, i could not stop myself walking past the vending machine. I have gone near enough 3 weeks solid and have not once gone off my cutting diet, A pack of crisps & a Boost. Do i feel better for it, NO!!!!! to add insult was followed by Lean Degree if that helps ;)

I'm the opposite, I feel more energetic after eating. I wouldn't eat 30 minutes before a football match or a run, but for a 45 minutes strength session I feel pretty good.

It's down to gastric emptying and also nutrient absorbtion times. You don't really want to be training with a big meal in your stomach, but you also don't want a very taxing workout with no nutrients available (IF protacol aside, and even then BCAAs can be sipped during workouts). Also bear in mind that as soon as you finish your workout your want nutrients readily available in your blood, and to some extent that depends on what you've had to eat previously.

It depends what you've eaten and how your training. For example if you just consumed some whey and some simple carbs you wouldn't need to wait very long.

Thank you for your good advice there icecold - I'm wondering if I should have 4 larger meals instead of lots of smaller meals - I'm quite new to all this, even though I've been at the gym a year and I have been doing it off and on - but I know I'm definitely not getting enough Protein at present.

I'm going to re-evaluate the diet plan tomorrow :)

Thank you again & Kind Regards

Well just weighed myself, a chubby 79.5kg! I reckon if BennyC can lose 6lbs doing IF and HST in 8 weeks whilst not even in a calorie deficit, I should be able to get to 75kg in a month of cutting!

Think I took in about 2100 calories today whilst doing a fair bit more cardio, and working out in a fasted state. Roll on tomorrow, dead lifts and dips, yeaaaaah buddy!

Did a little "pull" workout tonight. I've not done volume on deads in a long time and it was good to do it again! Three sets of ten @170-180kg and I was fried. I could probably do 200kg but that was certainly enough.

Followed this up with wide and narrow grip pull/chin ups and some plate loaded rowing. 45 mins and I was pretty happy. I was surprised at how much I felt the chins burning my biceps, but that's probably just a little leftover injury from a couple of weeks ago.

As far as my cut is going, I think I'll aim for around 14 stone. Which thinking about it is huge, as I was 15 stone just over a month ago.

Tomorrow is going to be chest or "push", haven't decided if I'll do my shoulders with my legs on friday. Then next week it's back on the powerlifting program, which is going to be brutal.

Sorry to wee on your chips old chap but I lost 6KG, not 6lbs. So 12lbs in effect :p:)

Despite drinking 4 times, going to the carvery 3 times, a subway after a night out, the odd binge here and there too etc.
