the 2600xt are able to be clocked higher!!!

i been messing with amd clock tool and i clocked it straight to 884mhz i ran 3dmark06 3times and its stable!!! temps are 54c ida and 61c load...

no the 2600xt doesn't have seperate 2D and 3D clocks

Yep theres a oc hole between 857 and 876 on some 2600xt cards.

theres no different from 857 to 884, so i think that amd/ati as put a limit on the overclock to 857.... or im i doing something wrong? because at 884 it doesn't seem any faster... i've overclocked my cpu to 3.25ghz from 3ghz but at only made the cpu score higher, the gpu scores stayed the same.....

Have you tried a slight voltage increase on the core?

My old 6800LE card would do that.. get to a limit and no increase (sometimes WORSE). You may be on the limit?

it doesn't have voltage controls on this card. i think its automatic, or im i missing that somewhere?

i can get the core to 904 that's the max but the fame rate doesn't go any faster..

Uninstall Catalyst Control Center. ATI overdrive doesnt let the clocks set in amd gpu tool stick.

Theres a fairly extensive thread onthe 2600xt cards at TPU if you want to look.

i've just uninstalled Catalyst Control Center but it's still the same... it does clock it at 884 and 904 but the fame rate speed doesn't increase....

i've contacted sapphire , maybe they have a bios update for the card...
