THE 50K CHALLENGE: NEW MUSTANG ON THE WAY, BUT WOULD 50K BE BETTER SPENT ON ANOTHER MARQUE?

Get it done, your job is secure you have the income this would be epic.

Most of the suggestions here bore me C63 etc god knows where I’ll go from my current car I’ve exhausted all options and find most things boring now unless it has a touch of something special about it and a barking V8

I’ve pretty much hit the ceiling but doubt I could ever get something properly exotic.

Stop wasting your time, and just buy a v8 Vantage :p.

Any good forum for F-type anywhere?

I've found the F-Type sub on jaguarforums to be pretty useful. There's a big american presence on there but it seems to be way more active than any UK forums i've tried.

It's not something I am considering doing to my V6S just yet but Velocity AP do a tune and pulley upgrade which will take the V6 to around 450bhp.

I just cannot see the point in dropping £50k on another car. He has a track car and a very capable daily driver. I say wait it out until something special comes out. Some great suggestions in this thread however though if he has a itch to scratch with something shiny shiny spend less and get something with bonkers power.

R34-GTR.

You do realise I've already have had an R34 GTR UK Vspec stage 1 420HP some years ago. :)
Nice car but the Golf R is quicker.

I want in a car is great looks, presence, epic sound, fun handling but also very capable and something very fast that is nice to drive daily and reliable, plus has to be an automatic. Ideally costing under 60k !

Hence new Mustang or used F-type R AWD are the two favourites right now, more stuff to test though. :)

Learn something new each day. No I didn't know you had owned one of those. Well, when it comes down to a choice between Mustang and Jag, Mustang would win everytime. Though you've already had one and fettled with it. Jag with awd I reckon will bore you after the newness novelty will wear off.

You need something totally bonkers that isn't common on UK roads. Mustangs a good choice though again you've had one so to me it just seems like a wasted purchase.

The amount of amg/m/rs cars I see everyday is like the amount of rep mobiles I see everyday. Common as muck now. Great cars though.

If you can get in a jag convertible for £60k you would be mad not to over the mustang, much more special.

I understand the brilliance of the previous two you have had, the last one was an absolute bargain at £35k or what ever you paid for it, and nothing competed with it really at that price, but your bracket is now in another league.
