@Stellios, whats the racing game you pimp in your sig? it looks wonderful but ive tried GTR racing in the past and it was a bit too heavy for my driving game needs. does that game you play differ at all, or does it NEED a sterring wheel and time to get it right etc etc?

That is Live For Speed.

Its best with a wheel, but I used to play with a pad and do quite well.
You should get the S2 demo from www.liveforspeed.net and give it a go. The demo servers can be full of muppets at times though.

lol, cheers mate. that does look good too. with my luck though i buy these great looking games and can never tweak them. they all end up running like ps1 games

Lol whats your spec ? That runs on almost full settings smooth on my rig. Its kinda hard though, stuck on the fourth campaign :/

3200 cpu,7800gt,2gb ballistix.
FEAR ran like a dog for me at medium settings yet people with lesser systems were enjoying better fps than me

it might have been something to do with the ram though thats just been RMA'd so ill see next week

You run on servers that are running the said mods, not on official ranked servers, only use vanilla BF2 on ranked servers (and Special Forces).

Also, what you folks use to take screenshots? Whenever I press print screen button it just overwrites the previes screenie so I can only one at a time before pasting it and saving. Some games like farcry have a built in screenie button (F12) which saves to a folder in the game directory. For those that dont, what you use? Fraps?

If you mean BF2 screenshots, pressing Prt Scr writes a JPG and PNG image of the same shot to your Documents folder\Battlefield 2\Screenshots
