On the topic of Tomb Raider, i bought it for the Xbox 360 and completed it today, the game is truly amazing. Hopefully i'll buy it for PC when fully upgraded.

Nope sorry. If you want any more info feel free to ask, but perhaps in an email or new thread to keep the screenshot thread clean.
Hey dude, you running Tomb Raider next gen on the spec in your sig?

Cos thats mightily impressive if you are ;)

My first The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion screenshot since my extra gigabyte of RAM and X1800XT arrived today. 1280x960 resolution, utterly max detail settings, 16x anisotropic filtering, 4x antialiasing, and HDR. :) Using the BTmod and the LOD terrain mod to improve graphics and gameplay, not even gotten into the .ini since upgrading.

Contrary to what egt seems to love repeating over and over like a stuck record, my FPS on these settings rarely drops below 35 and is usually pretty well over. :) Enjoy.

Agreed.

I'm using most of the same settings on my 6800GT - 1280x1024, 16xAF, 4xAA and a couple of LOD additions. I certainly don't get 35+ pfs outside - around the 20fps for me (some ini tweaks involved including not much moving grass), but it's been perfectly playable throughout the 70+ hours I've been playing it.

I've also seen it mentioned a few times now that increasing the resolution doesn't make too much of hit on your fps, but can be limited by cpu. So I tried it at 1600x1200 for a while. Going on the view in your second picture I get 20 fps at 1280x1024 and 17 fps at 1600x1200. I looked stunning, but was jerky occasionally outside when in the more graphically demanding areas...it might be fine for you though.

I've gone a bit mad with TR: Legend screenshots!

Enjoying it though. Only one thing really bugs me at the moment and it's the control/camera system. It's like a console in that the direction the arrow keys relate to changes depending on the camera angle. It is so fustrating! Why they couldn't make it so that the arrow keys always relate to the same movement I don't know

Apart from that great game!
