The 800x600 MAXIMUM screenshot thread (56k no no)

Indeed! I have the lighting set to max :)

7950gt btw

Thank you mrk. I remember playing around with this a while ago but never saved any settings. Its looks great. Do you have it set to max all of the time, or just change it every time you play? or a profile (If you can?)

Cheers guys ;)

I found using fsaa with max details that the fps did drop during lots of "blowy uppy" parts of the war :p so I just disabled fsaa and everything is all up. You don't notice any jaggies in this game compared to others it seems.

It definately looks like he's got AA on in that pic  Maybe it was the rescaling.

Seems like mrk used the sharp bicubic resizing method when downsampling those pics cos they look sharper than normal and the colours do look a little oversaturated. Other than that it looks normal.

Nope standard bicubic resize.

I will get originals up shortly after my drives defrag. The colours are unchanged, how you see them is how I see them ingame.

ps soundtrack is amazing as well... dionarra in particular ;p

there are also addon packs in there that allow the stuff that was taken out of the game to be put back in. graphics , sounds, items etc

In order for AA to work you have to disable it in the graphics card settings and enable via BF2142.

Nope you don't, well maybe for ATI you do I don't know but certainly not for nvidia. There is a difference with it at 2x 4x and off if you're looking at full res screenshots but ingame you don't notice them as much in this game as you do on others.

Wow jagged edges.

Yeah as mentioned, in screenies you can see them but don't notice them on games.

Think I may play with fsaa though as the new drivers dont seem to have as much a hit as the older ones
