Looks better full-size. The game looks good enough from top down, but when you hit scroll-lock it moves the camera and blurs the background. Makes it look like a photo.

Its not AA, its the actual texture of the walls is much more detailed compared with how it looked when I last played.

No way its always been nicely detailed but that shot does look good. I dont run AA at the moment so I'll try this scrolllock thing and see

Perhaps the newest patch (1.41) did something to it, i'm pretty sure my bf2 is unmodded...

Nah 1.41 was a while ago now and I didnt notice anything big in that patch.

there are 2 maps with a mosque, mashtuur city and road to jalalabad, sure they're different

think these shots are from the jalalabad one?
