Can't agree with you more. The atmosphere creation ability of this game is second to none, imho. Can't wait till prequel comes out!

Some of those missions in TFTD lasted ages. Especially when you had to root out one last baddy (usually a nigh on indestructible lobster man) hidden somewhere on the map. In the end I gave that game up for that reason. XCom however was another matter, until the first, and still only occasion when my main save game corrupted.

It was too much work to come back from that.

But they were indeed happy days.

ARGH!!!! damn i miss that game, i recently moved over from xp to vista, forgot to backup my saved games, had well over 100 hours of game play. now ive got a prob with my textures on the grass so im gonna have to reinstall the game again! and i have problems with fps when more than 2 npc's are around and shadows are on.
