i use frpas to be honest with you. Its a beautiful game, still buggy on latest patches for me, but its great to play, i'll post some more of stalker over the weekend, i have the ABCmod installed but the extra muntant spawns annoy me, if you know how to stop those and keep the rest of it working? stupid little wizard mutant firing things at me lol!
i'm at v1.0003 cos i likey using trainers, the 1.0004 trainers caused me troubles
i hate the mutants which dissapear, and have glowing eyes, i **** myself when i first met one a few minutes ago when you go down the manhole lol... i was just spraying and praying. wasted most of my ammo
I just installed Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic again for some top-notch sci-fi RPG action. It seems a waste of my shiny new 8800GTX, but it's just such a good game!
I was also surprised by the options that it supports. I patched it up to v1.03 and it had support for soft shadows, up to 8x antialiasing, 16x anisotropic filtering and EAX 3. I can't believe a game this old supports such a wide range of options while lazy developers these days won't even support standard antialiasing modes etc.
I just installed this...borrowed off a friend. It's pretty boring so far, being stuck on the mining asteroid =/

That's the second one, which isn't as good (as it could be at least). Besides, the beginnings of both games are boring: just bear with it.
Ah your playing the 2nd game, it's not bad but the 1st game is one of the best games i've played. Both games start pretty poorly the 2nd game especially but it picks up after you've left the mining station. However I would suggest trying to pick up the 1st game (if you can find it anywhere

Theres plenty of places you can find it. Its part of that new star wars pack for a start.

LOL yea i know the one you mean, its behind the screeny of the tree shadows, i met the bugger just as i picked up a artifact down there and pow!! skerd the poop outa me!

some areas are ugly and some pretty easy, theres loads of different mutants though, i'm not too far into the game at the min cos playing with mods =)
if you use the abc mod there seems to be tons too many to play the game without it becoming a pain in the butt cos your killing the mutants and not doing the mission. or getting killed by mutants and the enemy
