youtube] Some Phil Collins solo garbage /youtube]

Thanks for ruining my Christmas.
Probably one of the worlds greatest drummers in one of the best prog bands and he even did a great job of taking over Peter Gabriels job but you could hear millions of Genesis fans say "WTF" when he released that.

However he did do this in the 80s -

and he did help out an up and coming band -

(bit embarassing that, Page thought his twin neck had been tuned up when it was given to him but it was taken straight out of the case from his last gig years before)

I can remember the 80's for the continuation of MWOBHM from the late 70's, it really took hold in the 80's though with bands like Saxon, Maiden and Motorhead all gaining huge popularity, many other bands contributed that didn't attain the commercial success of the aforementioned such as Diamond Head and April Wine. The New Romantics dominated the charts in those days iirc, bloody annoying that was!

I think I got a bit carried away lads!

edit/ just thought i'd finish the wall off lads, those last 2 spaces were crying out for Manowar and kiss! When I die bury me under this wall!:D

smit101 really knows how to work that youtube wall.

The best years of music, for me were 84, 85 & 86.

Have some Def Leppard:

80's music meant big hair, colour and fun to me. If only I could go back 25 years! :(

Personally, with the odd exception, I hate where music is nowadays!
