Ha that’s amazing - I’m pretty sure that William Shatner mask IS the Michael Myers “Halloween” mask. I read that was the case once upon a time but this seems to confirm that myth!!

It is, its well documented that the budget they had was tiny so they got that mask, trimmed down the eyebrows, removed the sideburns, made the eyeholes a bit wider, spray painted it white and that was basically it. The exact same mask was used in halloween 2 but a different actor was wearing it who had a wider face so it looks a bit different in that movie despite being the same mask.
