How is there even a lumber industry in this country as we're so environmentally conscious and enlightened, and apparently we should be beyond all that?
We also should apparently be reassured that 'compensatory planning' does not fall within the remit of Forestry and Land Scotland, so no replanting of saplings to replace the 17 mil trees need be undertaken by them.
