Fancied putting a bet on this weekend (never bet). Put a tenner on a 3 fold for both teams to score for the Barcelona, Everton and arsenal games. Came in at 40 :-). Any good sites for betting tips? Hashtagbetting.com is pretty good, their two 3 folds and 6 fold all won this weekend.

Something weird must have happened with Paddy Power's in-play betting, after about 70mins in the Malaga-AM game the odds on the draw leapt up to 3.1 from about 1.8 (meanwhile the odds on home/away teams were 'normal' for that amount of elapsed time, so it wasn't as though one team had scored). Sadly I only had £750 in my account and the game got suspended by the time I'd deposited more cash for another bet.

You're VERY lucky to get that paid out, I'd withdraw that ASAP before they realise. If they spot it they can claim it was a "palpable error" (the bookies favourite excuse for claiming money back off you for their mistakes) and you have no argument against it.
 
Hmmm, United are 3.2 on betfair to win tonight. Seems good odds, although i'm not too sure whether they'll try and win or just keep it tight to stop Real getting an away goal.

I've stuck £10 on United to win @ 3.1

Best odds I've ever seen for United at home!

I'd expect that maybe if they were in a losing position, but I guess it's maybe down to the fact that Madrid are a counter attacking team and thrive on away games this year. They can also easily score 2 goals, but we're talking about man united at home here - formidable!

Either way it's worth a £10 punt :p
 
Anyone else planning to use the up to £50 safe in-play with bet365 tonight? I was thinking of sticking £50 on over 0.5 match goals, and then in-play sticking £50 on a draw. Covers bases, and if it ends 1-1 after 90 mins then even better.

On the same page now, though assume you will need to play through the winning stake from the in-play bet (if you win)?

Yeah i'll probably double up on the B365 bet - stick £50 prematch on chosen bet (assuming an in-play market) and then just put another £50 on at kick off. Odds may be slightly worse but in broad terms means you are covered in case it doesn't come off in terms of getting the free stake back.

edit: what I'd written before was wrong. Having some trouble placing my in play bet... I've seen this before on such promotions :(

Not sure what in-play to place.....

Hope you didn't have to enter a special code, the free in-play bet will appear when the whistle blows?

You place a bet of up to £50 pre game.
You then place a bet of up to £50 in-play.

If the in-play one loses you get it refunded. I'm not sure if you can withdraw that, or if you have to play through it 3 times before you can refund it.

So it's not a free bet as such, it's more like 'insurance' for your in-play.

Be careful here, I think you have to back at odds of 1/2 or higher for it to qualify.

It doesn't add a free bet as credit to your account.

You place a bet before the game.

Place a bet of the same value during the game and if it loses you get it refunded, if it wins then obviously you win :p

Too scared to put the in-play as we are not sure if the pre game bet qualifies.
