Well, it's only to tide me over until Motorstorm 2 comes out.
To be honest, I'm in the middle of several other games, and got Star Wars - Force Unleashed still waiting to be loaded the first time... I don't know why I bought another game really ;) Still got Crysis Warhead sitting in Steam... I've played the first 5 mins just for a look, and decided to leave it until I finish a few more games off.

Still, from the demo, I decided Pure may be good just as a quick "filler" game, a quick 10 mins here and there, between doing other things... though actually, I've been using GriD for that of late.

Oh well, if Pure is carp, I shall sell it on ;)

EDIT: Oh hell, and I was forgetting, today should be Wipeout HD day, right? So I'll 100% be getting that, and probably play that instead of Pure as well lol. Is Wipeout HD confirmed for UK release today?
 
Loaded it up for a quick go while Wipeout HD was downloading.
Only had a brief go, but enjoyed it so far :)

Glad to see there's an option for installing gamedata to the HDD too.

I always check for the option, and happy that the last two disk based games I bought, Pure and Soul Calibur 4 both allow installation to HDD, for quicker loading times :)

have you got the graphics settings at max? even at that res is should whip the consoles.

ps3 looked grainy in comparison.

you must be doing something wrong, the difference is clear.

Just played the demo and loved it ! What version is everyone getting? Want whichever the most people will have cos I reckon this will be a giggle online !
 
So is this actually any good? as i love the demo and wouldnt mind a pop out to buy it right now lol.

im dling wipeout atm.. but i can handle both

Can you give us a clue? I'd hate to buy or rent the game only to smash my controller up because of something frustrating. I believe you would be doing us all a great service by telling us.
 
MP is a blast but SP is ruined by the superhuman AI, who never run wide and get perfect traction on all parts of the track. It's not necessarily hard, just frustrating.

Worth a rent but I certainly wouldn't buy it.
 
The ai totally kills the SP, freestyle, you can easily win everything, but in races & sprints, the ai, as Ander5on said, have god on thier side!

Now, I'm a Christian...but these guys are something else! - ATV monks anyone? :eek:
 
As TimBrad and Anderson said the A.I ruins SP after the 1st few stages. 1 Crash and you're out of the race yet the a.i follow a perfect line and nothing effects them(mud etc...)

Saying that i did manage to get 1st in every race but there was a few times a lost my temper along the way.
