I just tried it, it didn't freeze initially when launching Adrenalin after installation, but I clicked on the AI tab and it froze up. No blue screen this time though, after a while the AMD bug report window popped up.

I presume all traces of old drivers have been removed or dress Windows install? Like from a previous Nvidia card. You are using using a page file with this build? PSU is powerful enough for the card? Rest of the system is stable? Maybe return everything to stock just to check if there's an OC or tweat RAM etc.
What was your previous card?
Could be a faulty GPU but likely to be something on your system conflicting.

I clean installed 6 weeks ago so no traces of previous Nvidia card, page file is enabled, system is fully stable and never crashes in games. I tried upgrading from 25.5.1 to 25.6.1 again, but this time I unticked launch Adrenalin and restarted my computer first, there was no crash when I opened Adrenalin afterwards.

I know people say you don't have to restart anymore but old habits never die and I always do a restart after a driver install regardless
25.6.1 still crashing in Netflix unfortunately. Looking at reddit it seems I'm not the only one with issues, these driver timeout/crashes in applications have been occurring since 25.5.1. Why not try this driver
its the pro driver and they do install on the consumer GPUs, I am running it with the 7800XT and they have been pretty smooth.
There's 2 preview drivers with more FSR4 supported titles and the latest has performance gains, but I'd start with 25.6.1:
But as you're coming from a 3060, you shouldn't-but if you do get issues, I'd recommend a clean install on a spare ssd, only drivers and test the games again to save a whole lot of time.

Just saw Terry Makedon announce a 25.6.3 revision. Big inclusion ins FSR4 in Monster Hunter and GTAV Enhanced.
Cannot recall the last time there were three releases in a month! Probably back in the Catalyst days.

Has there been any need for a driver update for dune awakening, i dont see it saying new game dune... in any of the last few releases. Im on 25.5.1, which seems stable for me so dunno if i wana update if i dont have to for awhile.

Got all excited then when I saw FSR4 for GTAV Enhanced. I was look "Oooh I have that game and I haven't played it yet". Until I realised I don't have a 9000 series GPU. lol.
Getting a very intermittent but mildly annoying issue on my 9070XT whereby it looks like the driver crashes (either while its sleeping or just as I try and and wake it up) which leaves it stuck on a black screen I have to hard reset to recover from. Anyone else seen this? I don't have any custom performance config setup, so I don't know whats causing it - happens in both the current driver (25.6.1) and the previous one.
Interestingly we had a similar issue at work with a new batch of AMD laptops. Is your bios up to date, along with Windows OS?
Yeah fully up to date on everything - only thing I can think of is that its somehow power saving related, just frustrating as it didn't happen with my old 3080 (different vendor obviously so apples to oranges, but its still a regression)
Did you fresh install windows moving from the Nvidia card or just driver uninstall/reinstall.
I had Adrenaline make various things from the statistics monitor disappear in the last few months, upgraded to the latest version and it made no difference, also it has stopped allowing me to monitor stats within Windows when not gaming, and the ability to turn SAM off has gone?
Is the latter 2 just something they've changed?
I did finally reinstall Adrenaline last night and got my stats back, but the ability to see them in Windows still hasn't come back, and SAM is enabled with no button to disable it!
