The AMD Driver Thread

Your Firestrike scores seem a tad high to me, but it's a nice problem to have I suppose!! Clocking your memory too on the 295??

I get 5302 score in Firestrike: Ultra with 2 x 290s @ 1100mhz / 1250 ram

I gotta look again but I think my 3 x 290s are around 7xxx? fug I'll look when I get home. His score actually seems a tad low to me if his mem is clocked that high.

Sorry Eyetrip, i don't think there will be an Elite Dangerous profile in these drivers. I've personally requested it myself though, so this may get added in a future driver update.

I'm not familiar with that game, but do any of the custom profiles work in the meantime? I'm told that AFR Friendly works quite well in terms of FPS and scaling, but some of the game menus and planet textures can flicker a little bit.

Does the game use a non industry standard scaler?

(Kidding :p)

:rolleyes:Nothing works for crossfire on Elite AFR friendly will share the load but you get better performance on 1 card.

Runs on its own engine codenamed COBRA

God for bid AMD should do something decent for its customers after an incredible long wait since last driver... Would it be to much to ask, to release the driver as early as possible for the eastern world, when we wake up. Some decisions just plain right baffle me. Does AMD PR not understand anything about trying to do the right thing to try and claw back some market share?

And Matt, can you please go to the team and get them to do a crossfire profile for Cities Skylines for next release? It's top 5 steam seller.

I've never waited for a crossfire profile before but I really want to play farcry 4 and dying light. I'm buying both games right now ready.

A Crossfire profile for Elite Dangerous is No1 target on my radar, don't worry. :)

Will we have to wait another 3 months for it though?...

AMD's must be suffering from budget issues, to not be able to afford to hire enough software engineers to work on profiles fast enough, I assume anyway.

Thanks Tony (and Mei) for bringing this to my attention.

Drivers will be once a month (or thereabouts) as they were last year.
