Or maybe like some sort of event, where someone stands on stage with slides behind them showing the price, performance and launch date. That would be great, but when has that ever happenedWe need some more leaks
I think we have had enough to piece together what we're going to have with 9070xt:We need some more leaks
You Rang?Next minute a mod is summoned and posts get deleted or worse people get suspended.
I think we have had enough to piece together what we're going to have with 9070xt:
- Between 4070 ti and 4080 performance (raster and RT) depending on power profile and clocks
- AMD was thrown for a loop on nVidia's pricing/performance, or they didn't want the launch to be an unmitegated catastrophe like 5-series is turning out to be, or both
- Price will likely be around £600 for MBA, £700-750 for higher-power/higher-clocked cards
I've just been on YouTube as one guy was hands on with some of the cards and they looked great. Got to see the ASRock taichi card which I've got my eye on. Didn't know whether to post here as I'm assuming people have all seen them by now. Nice to actually see them and not just in a photo.
100%. Not long to go.Be even nicer if they were in sale...

Date would be nice yeah. I mean stores have stock so I'm personally hopeful it'll be a quick turnaround from perhaps a reveal show(?), to benchmark reviews, to purchase date. Perhaps near end of this month things will start to ramp up. We're in a lull atm.Well you say that, could be 3 weeks, could be 7 weeks, could be longer if they only make an announcement in march.for an actual sale date to be weeks after....
Can't help feel they've lost a bit of momentum,
I don't think they lost anything. They might even have gained momentum as the competition cards are looking to be very mediocre.Well you say that, could be 3 weeks, could be 7 weeks, could be longer if they only make an announcement in march.for an actual sale date to be weeks after....

I'm sure AMD will come out with an official announcements on those points any second nowOfficial announcement would be nice to confirm it , right now it's still rumours
I don't know, I get the feeling with the 5000 series (or at least pricing and stock levels) being a bit of a damp squib, some of the hype around the new release has died down. Maybe it'll start up again around the 5070 and 5070 Ti release and AMD will be able to carry that over.I don't think they lost anything. They might even have gained momentum as the competition cards are looking to be very mediocre.

Was the same with the 7700 XT and 7800 XT, so wouldn't be surprising (if the higher card is better). On a different note, which card do people think will offer the most bang-for-buck of the 2 AMD cards?
Normally I'd expect the cheaper card to be the better value as I feel that's usually the case, but I don't think it was with the 7900 XT and XTX release where the XTX was probably the better value?
Wouldn't it sit slightly below the 4070ti-4080? going off AMD's RDNA 4.0 marketing, with FSR 4.0 looking DLSS 3.0 quality, and FSR frame gen looking at least on-par with DLSS on 7xxx series.. it could perform better however.I think we have had enough to piece together what we're going to have with 9070xt:
