Or maybe like some sort of event, where someone stands on stage with slides behind them showing the price, performance and launch date. That would be great, but when has that ever happened

I think we have had enough to piece together what we're going to have with 9070xt:
- Between 4070 ti and 4080 performance (raster and RT) depending on power profile and clocks
- AMD was thrown for a loop on nVidia's pricing/performance, or they didn't want the launch to be an unmitegated catastrophe like 5-series is turning out to be, or both
- Price will likely be around £600 for MBA, £700-750 for higher-power/higher-clocked cards

I've just been on YouTube as one guy was hands on with some of the cards and they looked great. Got to see the ASRock taichi card which I've got my eye on. Didn't know whether to post here as I'm assuming people have all seen them by now. Nice to actually see them and not just in a photo.

Well you say that, could be 3 weeks, could be 7 weeks, could be longer if they only make an announcement in march.for an actual sale date to be weeks after....
Can't help feel they've lost a bit of momentum,
Date would be nice yeah. I mean stores have stock so I'm personally hopeful it'll be a quick turnaround from perhaps a reveal show(?), to benchmark reviews, to purchase date. Perhaps near end of this month things will start to ramp up. We're in a lull atm.

I don't think they lost anything. They might even have gained momentum as the competition cards are looking to be very mediocre.
I'm sure AMD will come out with an official announcements on those points any second now
They've lost a lot of goodwill over the past 2 weeks (or decades?). They're banking now that people are so miffed by the nV disaster that they will wait it out for them, like a mom waiting at the finish line for her overweight and underachieving son to finish the race.
