'cheap at half the price'

not only is this really irritating, but it's actually the wrong phrase too.........
 
"To be honest". It's somehow now almost exclusively used to prefix a statement of fact\opinion\anything else, especially around here. If you don't use it, then does that render everything you say as dishonest?
