The Apprentice - 2009

I see why you say that, it does appear like he looks and points in one direction but I think they are playing with a false hint, its a deliberate edit

So I think its the opposite and that matches my guess that he'd go with the more ruthless of the two

Define steel/hard as nails though? Being an unreasonable bitch isn't the same thing.

Steel in business is being firm, confident, and resolute, not being rude and over-touchy to everyone that crosses your path. In practical terms that will simply alienate your team.

Using pure aggression as a method of persuasion and influence, gets you precisely nowhere in most environments. If you can't lead without ranting at every opportunity, you're not a leader.

I see your points - it tallies with my observations and thoughts too. I certainly don't advocate aggression rather than other means, especially if it stops you from listening. However there's just something a little too perfect perhaps almost as if she has to be given the ladder to climb and the goals to follow.
You have to remember that given some time and work Debra can be shaped. She also reminds me of myself as an arrogant cocky youngster when I first started. I still have that fire (and so will she) however she can be shaped into someone that employs all the same ways.
Also being young she'll be frightened and uncomfortable.

Yasmina has gained some of my respect back after her interview fiasco and then telling the other candidates it went fine and was even "enjoyable".

It appears the BBC misrepresented her by using another interview end:

Haven't watched any of this but am going to watch this.

Is there a favorite? I'm guessing the blondes looks have helped her get this far :)

Oh god, they shouldn't have changed the brand to some pretentious french name that no one will understand...

His and Hers would have done nicely.
