The Apprentice - 2009

Sums up that meeting :p

Rocky bombed the task, and maybe he deserved to go, but fair play to him - he's a nice lad, genuine, and at 21 he's already very, very successful. I think Nick hit it on the head when he said Rocky could be a star of the North-East some day.

James, on the other hand, is a bit of a buffoon! Who pees themselves in a meeting, and then tells people about it???

Those pitches were embarrassing...

James won't last long. I doubt Howard will either. Neither appear to be endearing themselves much to their fellow contestants or to Sir Alan.

Yeh, I forgot about those (obviously the sub-conscious kicking in with some kind of defense mechanism). Eye-candy just looked silly, making faces throughout the pitch. And yer man, going from £65 to £15 without asking the client what their budget was?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Was hilarious!
Sir Alan really was horrible at the end to Rocky ha!
Taken off on a stretcher, and now you're going to be taken home in a black cab!
ahahhahahhaha

Yes James is appalling. I think Nick got it right in the BBC2 after show, someone who thinks they can dig themselves out of a whole by talking, yet dig deeper into trouble. :D

Howard seemed to have the experience to do well and seemed to let Rocky take the fall and avoided the fallout. Does Sir Alan want that kind of person in his organisation somewhere?

Also Nick seems to be onto Noorul. Didn't do anything yet claimed he did. Reckons he's posh and talks posh. Yes posh for a science teacher. :D Those three seem to be the worst of the boys. Ben is quite annoying and very arrogant but I think he'll shine later; to justify his ego he surely needs to.

As for the girls Debra needs to go. She's trouble and is probably sharpening the knives to stab someone in the back. ;)

Isn't that the truth, but I doubt they'll get rid of her so quickly. The focus on confrontation and controversy will mean she'll likely be kept for a good few weeks if only to stir it up.

She's a serious hatchet-man though !!!

She's hawt, but she clearly had no clue about anything she was talking about.

At least the boys pitching came across as though they had some idea about what they were selling, even if they then had to climb down horribly on pricing.

Hehe. :) Yes she's going to be quite a central part in this series I reckon, if she's not sacked early because a manager works her out or she's the manager and fails and Alan susses her out.

it was almost like the woman pitching wanted to fail to get the girls team leader fired :O
You thought exactly what I was thinking! Couldn't help but think she did it on purpose to get the team into trouble and get Jasmina the boot.

Watching it now and oh my word... 12 mins in and the lads are just terrible so far!

edit----->

The girls pitch!! I was face palming just like Margret.

Don't tell me, you could have done better right.

Yeah because that's what I said wasn't it?

I would have looked a bigger idiot, but then I'm not the one trying to get a job with Alan Sugar claiming I'm brilliant, you would expect these guys to do a better job and Rocky clearly wasn't up to it
