*** The Apprentice 6 ***

Laura's exit was long overdue, she was very lucky to have lasted till week 9 considering her contributions amounted to next to nothing.

Next week looks interesting. :)

Gold. Single. Tikka? :D

Why o' why did he obsess over the kitchen worktop, and not move on to his other 3 items?

Each team was doing a different task. The girls were doing the "find the really obscure stuff" task, and they did really well at it by being organised, making calls, etc. The lads were doing the "pay as little as humanly possible for stuff" and did well at that by lying through their teeth.

I know who I'd rather have...

Yes because it's great business accumen to lie through your teeth to someone that you expect to do business with again! What would they say next time, after they had killed and buried all their aunts and nans and sent all their siblings to taxi school/exams/whatnot?

The men succeeded in the end goal but some of them were horrible in their strategy. Only Jamie (much to my dislike in saying so as I think he thinks too much of himself) was a good negotiator, a.k.a push and push for a low price and don't take No easily - but not make up stories about crap.

The only two viable contenters are Liz and Stella.

Stella won't make the final. Sugar basically said he think she's too corporate for his business, so if he hears that from another person she's gone.

I expect that conclusion to come out of the interviews if nowhere else.

To be honest, part of me thinks that if the rules allowed the boys to win that task, on the back of that performance, then the rules are flawed.

Well this is the first series of the programme that I started watching and quite enjoying it. Liz and Jamie are looking like very strong candidates (Liz probably more so), Joanna has also improved in my view a lot but I think her personality will get in a way again. Chris and Stella are both goners I think for reason mentioned here already Stuart just hasn't made enough of an impression IMO.

She's also a bit of a poo-stirring cow who thinks that because she's pretty she can get away with it.

That bit when they got back to the house was just completely unnecessary. Just no need to tell the group what one person said in the boardroom about her other than to seek the support of everyone else against Stella. She was spot on anyway. Liz was a rubbish PM. And her eyes are too big for her head.

And her elbows are way too sharp? ;)

I sort of agree about Liz being over the top, she got far too emotional about it. Maybe this emotional aspect of Liz will catch her out at a later stage somehow, but I doubt it.

It was quite pathetic to hear her reel off everything that Liz said and use it to try and turn the group further against her. Once again though, Stella kept cool(ish) and held her own.

If I was running a bank with a very corporate attitude, I'd hire Stella. If I was running a flight-by-night cowboy shack, such as that run by SirLord :p, I'd hire Liz.

Tonight's task, the tour company, looks juicy with some potential for a few fallings out. My prediction to go is...Joanna.

There looks to be a fair few fireworks tonight, can't wait for it but I don't think it could possibly beat last weeks episode for epic boardroom results session!

My hopes are that Jamie goes, can't stand him.

Baggs to be safe again as I want to see him in the interviews as he will be hilarious! No way he can win though as he is generally useless.
