*** The Apprentice 6 ***

A bit surprised tbh. Don't think Liz should have gone.

Joanna was a nightmare in this episode, she was dragging Jamie around like a little child, very insulting. I laughed when she reacted so shocked when Jamie quite rightfully and calmly explained how she was being a complete ****.

Baggs, Baggs, Baggs... Why is he still around? Let's not forget he's only 21!. Yeah, so act your age, with a bit of maturity. He keeps saying he's the youngest contest as well, which is a bit silly, as there was a guy on the previous series (Rocky) who was also 21. The way he spoke to the woman at the visitors center was just a no no. The attempts to steal tickets was beyond immature and very petty, and backfired but conveniently covered up well with well crafted lies in the boardroom.

Chris buggered up the sales pitch, but it was a lucky fluke. Joanna was pretty unprofessional to attempt to go back on the deal.

After this week? I can see Baggs, Joanna and Jamie getting knocked out next week.

Ratings.

Sugar wants them.

He'll make more in earnings/salary from each series of the TV show than anything any of the contestants can do for him. It's in his interest to keep interesting people in and boring people out. The first year "6 figure" salary is paid for by the production company anyway, Sugar doesn't even have to reach into his own pocket.

I can't believe Liz is out. Gutted, I can't stand Stella - she is devoid of emotion/passion and her voice grates.

Imo Liz was a far better candidate than Chris or Joanna - I wouldn't hire either of them in a million years and especially not over Liz.

Fair play to Stuart, he showed he wasn't going to just sit there and get fired when up against the two stongest candidates. I feel sorry for Liz, you could see her just sink into her chair - I mean how could she followup on the sheer ott pitch that Stuart was dishing out. I would have been dumbstruck too, especially if I realised L.Sugar was buying into it

Saying that, Stella's 'my results speak for themselves' was hardly an amazing or original pitch.

Jamie or Stella will win it I reckon.

Joanna - intensely annoying woman.

Firing Liz just proves that this show is nothing to do with finding the most able candidate.

Best at sales, best at pitching, best with people, best with numbers, most intelligent imo, (fittest), yet...'you're fired as I fell for Baggs's BS'. Incredible.

I couldn't believe it when Sugar put Baggs with Liz and Stella. Sad to see lovely Liz go.

The clip from next weeks interviews where Bagg's was told 'You're not a brand!'. His reply, 'I think I might be'. (was far funnier on TV than it seems on here!).

Bagg's and Margaret look like they could be comedy gold together next week! :D

I can't stand Joanna, she's a snide, infuriating cow. She reminds me of one of the handymen from Theme Hospital "Rude, abrasive, gets peoples backs up". How she is still in I do not know.

I'm firmly in Stuart 'The Brand' Braggs. He's cracking entertainment and I think he's actually quite good. He's not afraid to just get stuck in, and whilst he doesn't think his ideas through and isn't able to see how they'll come out in the end a lot of the time I think his passion and enthusiasm far outshines the other candidates 'wanting' for the job. He needs training, guidance and a short leash and surely that's the definition of an apprentice?

I like Jamie also, he seems to have his head screwed on and whilst he isn't as eager as Braggsy he seems to understand business a lot more. Probably a safer bet really.
Chris Bates is very meh. I used to like him, he's got less business sense than Jamie but more personality but still below Braggsy. Very much stuck in the middle and not really shining.

Stella is a miserable cow, whilst probably intelligent/good with figures and what not I can't see her being what Alan wants.

So, I'm putting my neck out on the line and saying hire The Brand!

sweet lord the black woman (i don't know wher name) made me want to smash my own face in with a keyboard :/

Well 12 mins in it can only get soul crushingly worse :(

The way she harassed that poor bloke to breaking point and then turned round saying she felt threatened was just unbelievable, I'm surprised that nothing was made of that in the boardroom

Has anyone actually ever had an interview like that? Now I haven't been going for any £100,000 jobs in fairness but if somebody interviewed me in that style it certainly would put me off working for a given company.

Interviewers have a responsibility for making a company appealing i.e. a great place to work.

I know this is different but it's probably all staged just for the show of it.

So funny when he walked in and saw Margaret and said 'Hey, Margaret' like he knew her! I hope she brings him down a peg or two. That Clide / Clive whatever his name is, is an intimidating chap. I reckon he will dismantle Herr Baggs.

each week i have been 100% behind the decisions

but this week ,,, WRONG !

how can liz have gone and that d**k is still in

As soon as Sir Lord sees another young scallywag with a twinkle in his eye, he falls in love with him as it reminds him of his young self. Cringeworthy.

It was funny seeing that Liz did physically shrink into her chair while Ball Baggs was speaking though.

They look more like interrogations than interviews. No doubt they are edited to appear as entertaining as possible, and i wouldn't be surprised if the production staff have given them 'pointers' on what makes good entertainment.

Some interviews are genuinely hideous, and I'd imagine that big executive jobs for cut-throat firms would be like that.

I once had a first round interview with Barclays and was told that the second round would consist of 6 half hour interviews with loads of different people. Never got that far, which is probably for the best!

Hell, my dad said that the interview to get into vicar school in the Church of England is horrible. It's something like 3 days long and there's loads of different things you have to do.

They never actually clarified whether Chris's decision to give 20% of the total revenue made a contribution to the profit, I assumed from the fact he was handing over money to the tourist company rather than receiving it that the decision had cost more than they took back from it.... Unless the tourist company firstly gave them all of their cash receipts in order to calculate 20% of the teams total revenue, but surely they could have just counted it themselves.

Either way they rather glossed over the most important factor of the whole task in the boardroom.

The tourist company gave them cash receipts less commission.
They then gave the tourist company 20% of their entire takings.
I assume.
