*** The Apprentice 6 ***

Jesus they need to invent Slap'o'vision where you can violently interact through the screen.

Every single bloke there is a 100% ****.

I will predict a woman wins again this year

Why is there a surgeon on this show:confused:

Just because people are already successful doesn't stop them coming on the show. The winner a couple of years ago, Simon Ambrose (I think) went to Eton and then graduated from Cambridge and was from a millionaire family.

There's been people on who have given there paying more than the prize at the end even if they won the show.

Saying you were chosen from so many thousand people and worked alongside Sugar can look pretty good.

Only if Lordsralan hasn't chosen the winner yet... if he hasn't, it won't be a woman. They always get up the duff and bugger off after a few months. :D

I say yet because Yasmina Siadatan (winner of last series) is recently pregnant. He wouldn't have known this if he had to choose a winner before the summer. Saying that, the final two would have been chosen back in October 2009. So he might have two women in the final. Whoops.

I understand your point, but a lot of people think that the Apprentice is mostly about personality and what is good for TV.

I mean look at that guy who got fired last week, He might put on his CV "I worked along side Lord Alan Sugar" but some people would have watched it and would have seen him act like a complete idiot, don't think that would improve his chances of getting a job if you behave like that.

Obviously if you win it, then that is a different story altogether, but it is big risk and some candidates just make themselves look stupid to millions of people out there watching.

If you win it, yes it will look good on your CV.

If you say and do stupid stuff and are extremely arrogant then I don't think it will.

This is all my opinion, I might be wrong.

You have a point flibbage0.

It is a bit of a risk for anyone who even gets onto the show. If they act like idiots, they're showing their worst flaws to potentially, millions of people, which could include potential employers. Although they'll be forgotten in due time.

That being said, it can be a plus if people do well, even if they don't win.

It's just TV and the people who are chosen are chosen because they will make good TV, not because they have any worth in a business environment. As such they are normally completely un-self-aware and have a huge gap between their perceived and actual worth. Helps if they are massive ***** too.

As for their CVs most of them hope that the show will mean some magazine deals and a chance to remove themselves entirely from the commercial world, I doubt it is a major concern. I like the apprentice but I wouldn’t kid myself that it has anything to do with business. Same goes for Dragons’ Den, although the premise is so broken I wouldn’t go as far as to say I like it.

Episode 2 9pm tonight.

By the way, don't click on the Apprentice story on the BBC website. It contains a spoiler about one of the contestants. Cheers BBC.

Looking forward to seeing lovely Liz again tonight. :)

There is no one I would like to slip one in that's for sure.

When I say that I mean slip a business plan in to the hand for the family viewers

I feel like watching the aussie one again :P
