Anyone else got this on now on BBC2, or is everyone watching the football? I'm having to watch it on a 14" portable as parents have the football on in the other room.

I don't know what it is about Sir Alan Sugar, but I'm not particularly keen on him as a person, although respect he has done rather well for himself!

Tough call this, apprentice or the England match!!

Think I'll watch the apprentice and keep an eye on footie score online.

Nargis' presentation is rubbish!! she just shoots them down as soon as they try ask her a question!! You don't want to get their backs up within a matter of seconds!

I feel a little sorry for her on this one, she was the only member of the group who was prepared to put her neck on the line and say she didn't like their idea. However, that still doesn't get over the fact that I don't like her generally.

Pretty sure it'd all filmed beforehand, I remember last series several of the contestants had their own websites with information about their departures on "before" they had actually left.

Indeed, Jo survives yet again, although to be fair although she was nothing special in this task, she wasn't a disaster either.

I'd not have got rid of Mani though - if the main grounds for having him in the board room at the end was the incorrect info from the fact finding session, then the other guy from the fact finding session sould have been in there too. He was equally, if not more so, guilty than Mani.

Paul needs to deflate his head just a little. He's generally not *too* bad, but that interview (played cricket at a high level, beautiful girlfriend, ace house, done more than any other 26 year old etc) was too full on!

I say Paul and Ruth for the final.

Ansell and Michelle seem to be very average in all areas and don't excel in many.

edit: Having said that, they aren't summing up Paul too well, and with Alan having minimal contact with Paul, he'll probably heed their advice

Hmmmm, I'd have taken Paul over Michelle.... I wouldn't go as far as saying she's been given the sympathy vote.... but I think that's pretty much what it comes down to.

What on earth was that all about? I hate the way he goes for the "dramatic twist" for the cameras.

Talk about playing with them.

I'd have got rid of Ruth and given Ansell a chance, I think he came across well in the board room.

Early on, Paul looked very good to me, but as time progressed, he got more and more confident, to the point where it went from confident to cocky, and cocky to arrogant.

I'll agree with you on this point - I'd say his cockyness was his downfall and there seems to be a little irony in the fact that his cockyness was probably made worse by him doing so well by avoiding the boardroom and winning tasks - he'd probably have been a little more down to earth if he had been put through a couple of board room visits.

Also on the research point. I spent more time "revising" the company that I had an interview with for a work placement than I spent revising my 1st semester exams in my second year (which were at about the time of the interview), and I think it paid off.

Going for a job interview and not tailoring your whole apporach (right through from CV and application), to interview technique and knowledge to the specific company you are applying for seems a massive oversight.

If anyone usually listens to Graham Torrington's Late Night Love on commercial radio in the evenings, beware that Jo from the Apprentice is on tonight.

Eeeek.
