I think nominating novelty songs is unfair, as most people know they are rubbish. This would be more fun if you picked mainstream songs only.

Anything by Scouting for Girls. The lyrics are just repeated ad nauseam. Compare their songs to something like American Pie which apart from the chorus repeated, every verse, for over 8 mins, is different.

I still struggle to believe that kept Vienna from the number one it deserved, I really question what the Great British public were thinking at the time.
