The Bards Tale IV out on 18th September 2018

Been playing this today. I wasn't sure about the combat at first but it works. Puzzles so far have been fairly easy with a bit of thought. (10 hours in)
Looking forward to playing more tomorrow.

Completed my first run through, left a couple of side quests hanging as I have to admit it became a little to puzzle heavy towards the end (can't believe I'm saying that ) but it definitely feels like a Bard's Tale and I'm glad I play Mage's Tale on Oculus because the story's cross a little.

Going to take a break before my next playthrough to attempt a full complete as I want to put some time into Pathfinder Kingmaker (Can't believe we've had two big RPGs releases within days of each other :D)

Im interested in it, I played the original Bards Tale when it first came out on the Spectrum back in the 1980s, for a long time it held my personal record for the longest single nonstop play session on a game , 49 hours nonstop, took a couple of decades before I broke that record :)
I still the original actually and the map or Skara Brae, what a **** hole lol

I was a backer when it was first in Kickstarter and so far am enjoying it (although combat can be frustrating when the spells/abilities don't work as you expected - but this is just getting my head around what does what and when!)

The HP on my characters is really low - anyone kbow what the best way to get these up is?

Truth be told I've actually been on the original Bards Tale that has been remastered more than the new one and it's really taking me back to my childhood! Fairly low HP at the moment so avoiding any beasties that can either/stone me coz they cost a fortune to heal!

If it's unity engine and Ur having bad FPS even on good cards it's probably needs switching in Nvidia panel to max performance, it usually fixes my issues as unity isn't great keeping you running good after switching scenes with loading screens.

I will give this a go. With a 1080ti at max, I do go over 60, but lows of mid 40s.
