Shouldn't use any setting other then off and low in bf games... all they do is increase input lag...

And input lag is quiet possibly the worse thing u have with any fps game.. that and a dirty mouse mat!

Has something just taken the servers down or has SA backfired - most of the servers I play on (that have changed to SA) that are usually 64/64 at this time of night are empty or just 1-2 players right now :S

EDIT: Theres a few at 50+ players actually in the browser though.

You should never use MSAA in this game, it doesn't work well. Just increase the resolution scale to get a better image.

Joe, I've found the sweetspot is 4xmsaa and 130% res scale mate. I'll be honest with ya, I tried 200% res scale just to see the quality and it actually had more jaggies than 4xmsaa on the test range. I used the flag posts and fences as a reference to the amount of jaggies to compare. With regards to input lag, I see nothing wrong with 4xmsaa at all with Vsync disabled my movement seems flawless

MSAA does introduce input lag.

soon get used to it though nothing major.

i play with 4Xmsaa ultra textures and mesh and rest off.

hardly uses my gpu.

I've just let Nvidia "Optimise" my BF4 for me, this could be fun - lets see how they feel a GTX 780 should perform!

Just 100% as scaling is a form of supersampling which like AA heavily affects performance and adds input lag.

I definitely notice a difference in K/D when playing all low/off versus all Ultra and 4xAA.

100% here as well, no need to mess with it when using that natural sweetfx config.

Haven't had any issues, I've been pretty lucky with BF4, only really netcode I can complain about but that's the same for everyone.

3 sound loop crashes on the bounce, literally lucky to make it through one round.

Game honestly isn't worth the space on my hard drive at the moment

Fun bunch of games. i think some of nexus' skills (Hacks) are rubbing off on me with some of the AA shootdowns I got tonight in the tank.

That last round on Dawnbreaker was fun with the 3 of us trying to hit Blacklines.

I'm getting odd soundloop crashes and BF4 has stopped working CtD, also intermittent hit reg problems. The game is far from perfect for everybody sadly.

No. I thought it would seems to be better for fps than my old settings oddly. Mixture of Ultra/High.

Blacklines too stronk camping that AA lol.

Bit fedup with bf4 and all its crashing issues on pc. Very seriously considering selling my cpu, gpu and ram. It's the only game i play theese days, selling the kit would go a long way to provide cash to buy a new rifle.

Was having an amazing game with a 1200ticket map, loads of kills and then about 100 tickets for the enemy left I get the sound loop bug.
