Don't you love it when you're flying a frogfoot and spot a tank so you fire your tv missile and your missile impacts the ground beside it but the game suddenly decided, "nope your missile now is a phase shifting missile" and goes through the ground leaving you with a screen full of static until it goes out of range, and by the time you can finally switch back to your controls your plane is either destroyed or in the process of getting turned into scrap metal.

I though that TV missiles in the Attack Jet was still bugged. When I was trying it out last month it caused the plane to explode either on firing or about 30 seconds after launch.

I managed to do the above one 2 times in a round, just a hair short of hitting the tank and it seemed to go straight through the ground and wouldn't let me regain control of the plane. Though with the hit detection in this game I'm surprised my missile didn't hit the sun and still score a hit on the Tank.

This whole games like an advert for what you get when a bunch of Chimps are doing QA with EA on their back to ignore most of the bugs just so they can make their unrealistic release schedule..

Very annoying.

TV Missiles are fraught with bugs. Generally I find my second TV missile bugs more than it hits. Maybe something to do with the terrain deformation after the first impact. Also the bug from Attack Jets where you fire and the TV missile points 45 degrees upwards from the actual point you were aiming at.

Also, if you want to abort a TV missile just press E (Or whatever your Get in/Out vehicle bind is) Will take you out of TV Missile back to vehicle seat.

Second time round I hit e and found myself ejected out of the plane, :(

Another few things that chaff my asscheeks:

Why is it when someone spawns into the tank I'm driving does the game feel the need to zoom my view forward then back out?

Why does the zoom function on Tanks glitch when I've switched from third to first person mode and it takes a couple of clicks for it to actually zoom?

Am I the only person that gets an idiot on the .50 cal turret that fires non stop at everything and anything giving my position away constantly?

I SRAW'd three jets last night on Caspian who were flying in a straight line. Not as sexy as hitting them with a TV haha but it felt good

TFU are having huge fun in SA at the moment. Feel free to come and join us

I can never remember the true IP though :( ...

When I get into vehicles especially gunner on the attack chopper I've got into the habit of immediately double tapping zoom lol - doesn't help so much now though still seems to help a little but it used to be pretty much essential to prevent the zoom from messing up at some random point and/or ending up with part of the vehicle model blocking your view.

Pretty hard to be stealthy in a tank to be fair - between spotting, commander vehicle scan spamming, SOFLAM and SUAV, etc. your doing well if your not showing up for everyone to see.

That's deffinately up there on my pet peeves :( That and sneaking towards a flag only to have someone spawn on me jump up and fire a rpg showing everyone where we are

Hit reg was okay last night ! ( for BF)

True IP? Or TS IP? :p :D

Well been playing BF4 for a few weeks now and my only gripe is the amount of snipers in a game[map].

In some games[maps] there are that many snipers they actually spoil the game, why did they not set the number of snipers in a Squad to ONE PER A SQUAD.

This would improve the game play no end, l'm not against snipers but when it ruins the game something should have been said and done ages ago.

A problem is that quite a few of the maps feature tall buildings that are easily accessible. Therefore the game is filled with Bob lee swagger wannabe's, quite often though (thankfully) most of them couldnt hit a barn door from 3 feet away.

Annoying thing is most of them are "Bob lee swagger wannabe's" but if left to their own devices can dominate a game due to their not really being any counter in play to what they are doing - I can swap to sniper rifle (pretty average with it) and mop up any that aren't actual masters of the sniper rifle (which is most) over and over again but its not really that fun :S (Though I won't lie sometimes using canted iron sighted m98b to clear a rooftop on floodzone of wannabe snipers is somewhat satisfying).

The real fun is counter sniping snipers on HC where one shot counts!

I run round with a 3.4x PKA sight and once you work out the depth of field with regards to distance and elevation it is awesome as it doesn't show up in the game like "scope glare" does with the 8x or higher!

Only really play aggressive recon with a bolt gun for a laugh theese days, used to like trying for ultra long range shots in bf3, (2000 yards+) but hardly ever go that way in bf4 as most of the maps are too small. Bad company 2 had the best recon class, particularly if you wanted to play a more team helpful method of the class. By equipping c4 and a battle rifle such as the G3 and using motion sensors. As you advanced you could take on vehicles, engage assault rifle armed opponents and provide early warning for the rest of your team. All too often in bf4 the recon guys sit on the fringes of the map trying to up their kd ratio and contributing nothing to the team, theese guys are as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Hence why I use canted - and can usually headshot them if they are sitting on the rooftops on flood zone, etc. I don't have the discipline or method for actual long range sniping, don't bother doping, etc. but do pull off some nice long range snap shots with a millisecond guess at range sometimes.

G3 + 8x scope + bipod was the best gun ever!
