rival got its own acceleration settings? ;) can't remember exactly but I think there was the windows mouse precision pointer rubbish, then I think the the razer synapse program there was a mouse acceleration option, then if there's another in bf4, accelerception!!!! or precision^3 (cubed) :p

also big mouse mats own!!!! love my new desk set up using a corner desk, as my pc is flush aginst the wall, half of it is behind my monitor and then the front half is pointing away from me so by my keyboard is extra rooms :D

400-800dpi is FAR too slow for me!

1800dpi, mouse sensitivity in windows control panel set to 6 and in game is set to something between 20-30%

Seriously..... I thought the "next" patch was going to be the vehicle, grenade, pistol etc. tweaks that they posted a few weeks ago before the last patch came out.....

What was the point of releasing those patch notes if they weren't going to happen till 3 patches later......

thats because you tank though mate, it'll take you a month of sundays to turn that turret 360degs with a 400 - 800dpi lol. I use Razor Diamondback 1600dpi, ingame 10%...feels just right to me

Will be about tonight to see if these bugs were random or not. Also see if this mouse fix has helped anything.

That qck+ mouse mat sounds superb but unfortunately the dimensions wouldn't really "suit" my desk, boogie bug fits and looks perfect, I find it fine with my g400 for tracking etc.

Got a ocuk XL mat about a month ago as a spare and it seems to have a more shiny/smoother finish than the boogie bug so will be interesting to see if it is any better....

Kind of fancy a new mouse as the g400 is starting to feel and look a bit dated.

Lol true that for the tanks!

Aren't there two sensitivity settings though, one specially for vehicles?? IIRC both of mine are set to the same setting.

I also find 400-800 dpi useless for infantry play. Too slow for multiple engagements and those quick turns that you need on the likes of TDM and dom/lockers.

Its gonna be an interesting one - a lot of people aren't feeling like giving EA/Dice any more of their money any more and second assault could potentially gut a lot of activity from the game if those who have already paid for it go on to mostly playing those maps and the rest don't want to pay for it.

:eek::eek::eek:

I use 400, my god that is insane! I can't begin to imagine playing at that.

You get used to it, I just learned to use small precise mouse movements.

It also help as I don't have a huge amount of space to move my mouse, so lowering the DPI too much would be detrimental.

Fire_Fly, seriously bud 400-800 dpi is the way forward. Didn't you say you had left in game mouse sens at default 20%? That is insane, I used 9% @ 450 dpi.

I'm slowly reducing it down, otherwise it will be in too bigger jumps and just frustrate me. It is set to 1600 now.

That is about what I have mine set to ATM, and in vehicles I have to turn it back up track moving targets.

yikes. just tried out the L85A2 in a TDM match, yuckie duckie. Me no likey. Does it get a lot better with unlocks? Seems very inaccurate compared to the Ace23 which I normally roll with for Assault class

It shoots laser beams, get the angled and you are golden. My best weapon although it is a love/hate relationship at the moment.

This.

Once you get some unlocks for it, grip + comp, it becomes much more manageable over longer ranges. Although at times it can be a bit hit and miss.

On the topic of sens. 40cm 360 master race.

800 DPI
GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.007479
GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle 0.292119

Thank me later.

Yay now half the time I can shoot endless shots at people more than 100m away and see hits (blood spurt/animation flinch) but never actually kill them :|
