The Battlefield Hardline Benchmarks Thread

Yep sounds about right. So you reckon i should use H264? Is that possible with VirtualDub? Can i just download the codec, install it (same as i did Xvid) and then it will appear in VirtualDub as an option?

Yeah, can use H264 with an AVI container in VirtualDub. I've done it a number of times. Videos don't play on XBOX360 though (they do if you use MP4 instead of AVI).
There are a few H264 codecs, the one I used with VirtualDub was "x264vfw".

In both (Xvid and H264) I think there are options to set the threading.

Got a download link for it?

I checked and i already had it setup for threading and to use 8 cores and i even have the priority on highest. It was still fairly slow, but looking at the quality and file size it seems a fair trade. I'll give H264 a go though. I could be mistaken but is that the codec ShadowPlay uses?

I enjoyed the quick game i had earlier, performance using DX11 was great, fps no lower than 75 and avg around 95-100 mark.

Will record a round now and post the results, matt you got that CFG file i could use to show fps and the like please.

I believe so since the NV cards have a hardware based H264 encoder which is why it's able to do its job with barely any performance deficit.

Nice and sure mate. I've already set it up for you. :)

I believe AMD cards have the same codec as it was part of RadenoPro.

Cheers.

Join us, it's a non stop party on the dark side. :p

Are you overclocking? If so id put it back to stock and see if the problem goes away.

Running at stock clocks but I've backed it off a bit in afterburner, updated DirectX, reinstalled Battlelog Web Plugins, cleared Chrome history/cache and updated drivers so with any luck that should sort it out and I can get some gameplay in!

Seriously tempted to joining the dark side with a 290 Windforce. Doesn't help that my friend has offered to take my 770 off my hands :p

I would be enjoying it if I didn't get this every few minutes. I haven't played one full round yet

Help? Maybe its just my **** MSI 770. It's never been right. Part of me just wants to buy a 290.

When BF4 first came out, I was getting similar problem. It's the game not the card or drivers.

meh..., has the same problem as BF4, people standing around behind walls and shooting straight through those walls as anyone passes.

MSI does not record Mantle.

Software based though if i recall, but I could be completely wrong as I don't pay much attention to SP or other recording solutions myself.

OT: Where's those batman benches :p

Nah think it's hardware based mate as i can record and encode on the fly using my gpu's. :)

There is one drawback though, currently it only supports up to 1080P quality.

And i posted the Batman benchmarks in the Batman bench thread. ;)

Buy Mirillis, honestly it's worth it for £18.

Right think I've fixed my CPU problems (corrupt os/mem/ssd) so updating windows and I'll get hardline down and some benching sorted.
