Finished s5 last night and felt bitter sweet, it was better than what we've had in previous seasons and felt closer to s1. Can't say I'm the biggest fan on the ending they went with but most episodes are only 25min with one being just over a hour so it's not a huge time commitment to see it out.

Felt like at times they were almost setting up potential spin offs in the last episode.

Yeah I enjoyed the last series overall, sad to say goodbye to the characters. I do think Richie has one of the best character arch's/development for a tv show like this. His progression was great to watch.

Just blitzed through this. I really enjoyed it even though S4 was as dull as dishwater. Loved Richie's arc, his last scene hit me full on in the feels! I don't know if I was supposed to, but I hated Sydney. She may have been a good cook, but she was an insufferable, entitled, condescending, cracks under pressure annoyance. Neil was excellent comic relief to counter that.

How do season 3 and 4 stack up against 1 and 2 ?

I enjoyed the first two seasons but heard some negative things about season 3 (can't remember the criticisms anymore) and that somehow resulted in me not bothering with it despite enjoy the first two seasons.

I quit on season 3, the girl got more annoying. Might retry it though.

3 was meh, 4 felt like it was just plodding along to set 5 up which felt closer to s1.

Worth going back and finishing it as the shows done with now.
