i agree about Valve, HL 2 engine is nice but i just find the games themselves boring and tedious for the most part.....just like .... Carmack games

my fav dev is 3d Realms because everyday you wake up you just wonder if it's the day DNF actually gets published .....it keeps me alive.

Rockstar> Weak. It's easy to sell a 'bad boy' title when the advertising is heavy, and makes it seem cool. They sell their titles on controversy, so I rate it down their with Jerry Springer. Trash developer. If they actually decided to make a proper title I would definately be interested however.

I'm pretty sure GTA didn't get good reviews just because it's controversial. Every game has scored over 90% I beleive and had numerous 9/10 out of 10's.

They are proper titles. The worlds they create are huge and you can tell are very well made from the ground up. A good example is the in-car radio
