Just a thread idea

Here's mine

P.Cech (Been relatively poor this season but his previous performances speak for themselves)

A.Cole
R.Carvalho
N.Vidic
J.Bosingwa

A.Robben
A.Iniesta
M.Senna
C.Ronaldo

F.Torres
D.Villa

Team revolves around good full backs and wingers providing service for the strikers. Please don't forget Torres is 6ft+ and has a good head on him.

Iniesta is the playmaker with Senna playing DM

What's your starting 11? With an explanation please ;)

R. Giggs
S. Gerrard
M. Essien
C. Ronaldo

L. Messi
R.V. Persie

Off the top of my head and very UTD orientated + PREM as I'm tired. Mostly UTD back line because they are that good, shay given is a truley magnificent keeper, and Messi up front should be in everyones team.

How can you include torres, he is pretty crap atm, carvalho....erm no :p

Buffon

Alves
Evra
Vidic
Ferdinand

Ronaldo
Messi
Xavi
Gerrard

Rooney
Eto'o

Torres excluded purely on current form, would probably be very much in contention were it not for the injuries.

Can't be bothered with systems etc, we'll just outscore any team we're up against:

Reina

Alves
Ferdinand
Vidic
Cole

Fabregas
Gerrard
Xavi

Messi
Ronaldo

Torres

Given, Alves, Gallas, Lucio, Clichy, Messi, Fabregas, Xavi, Young RVP, Robinho.

Alternates,

Cudicini, Bosingwa, Vidic, Puyol, Evra, Ronaldo, Senna, Lampard, Pires Villa, Eto'o/Henry

Don't rate Cech anymore, he appeared great in a team with the best defensive record, when that went out the window he isn't the same. Maybe its the injury and he's never got it back, maybe it was purely less shots at him to save beforehand.

Xavi used to be a lot more holding than attacking. He's a midfielder really as opposed to a defensive or a offensive one, an old school actual midfielder brilliant at either role. Ronaldo I tend to feel is "too" individual, he's great and isn't a hog, but I think works best when the team is focused on him rather than the team. While you look at that brazil or Spain performance and see when you play for the team, the team is better. PIres is still utterly world class, just a bit old now, still capable of changing ANY game for the better and does so repeatedly for villareal, pure creative genius and you rarely find a player capable of scoring from anywhere at all in their half. Experience up the ying yang aswell, which is why Lucio, just been around for ages at the top of his game winning cup's and being solid as a rock.

Dont understand why so many people have Boswinga in the team, personally i think he's too weak for the premiership and unless he can get it sorted he won't be in top 11.

Dont get us started on cole..:p

--------------Given------------------

Alves----Vidic------Chiellini-----Maicon

-------------Mascharano-------------

-----Lampard-----------Iniesta-------

Messi---------------------------Henry

---------------Villa-------------------

Barcelona frontline but with Villa, bound to score a lot!!! Bit of grit with Chiellini and Mascharano!

Subs:

Rafael da silva - amazing talent, got have him there. Soo creative for a 19yo.
Gerrard - World class in every department bar dicision making.
S.Busquets - Play anywhere in the middle
Etoo - Goals goals goals!
Ronaldo - Havent liked his attitude this season but is starting to look himself again recently. Best player in the world? probably!

No eboue? :p

Nope, apparently because i say he should start over Denilson, Diaby and Song(the family together rate as the worst players in the premiership though to be fair, Rigobert Song is dragging down his nephew's name there, not by much though), I am saying he's the best player in the world ever. Chances are I'm just saying, he should start over our worst players, and thats what i mean also. I think he's good, and incredibly unlucky with insanely low confidence thanks to our fans being basically cruel to him for years and a manager that saps his confidence at every chance. He was our best player on the pitch the other day, having scored what would have been the winning goal if Adebayor hadn't decided to get in Woodgates way which was about as active as he was the entire match.

I can't understand the raving over Rafael, at all, he's complete crap so far. He's getting games because Brown looks like a donkey going forwards and has been injured and Neville is really too old to come back after such a long term injury. But he gives the ball away constantly, he dives, he fouls and he looks like someone stole his barbie every single time a throw/foul/decision goes against him. I haven't seen a single indication of his potential. He got a semi decent cross for an assist recently, but the rest of the game he was knocking in awful crosses, giving away the ball, fouling people to stop them going past him at the back or being easily, very easily passed. He's young and obviously can improve but doesn't look good so far at all.

Tevez - The work rate is unsurpassed.
Torres

Subs: Cech, Rafael, Senna, Gerrard, Rooney

Its quite hard when you sit there for 2mins and think about it! There are a few options you could go for with tactics and such playing different formations.

tevez i agree with, with his workrate he reminds me of a dog with its tongue out, chasing after a tennis ball thrown all day long.
