What can I use this for? I feel as though I can do cool things with it.

Essentially if you work at home you could have a monitor set up with keyboard and mouse etc ect all plugged into this. You then can plug this into your laptop and use as a desktop without having to worry about USB ports, plugging things in and out etc and it gives an extra display so you can run the laptop display, a second via the laptops vga out and a third with this. Unplug the suingle USB2.0 port from the laptop to take away with you on business. Job done :)

Its also very good to use as a business tool for connecting to projectors etc for slide shows and presentations.

At the very least it expands your ports on your machine for very little cost making this an absolutely bargain for what it is :)

Very nice, should be good for those that have older serial devices that they need to work.

Wonder if it could be used as, well some kind of KVM switch.

Plug into whichever computer you want keyboard, mouse and visuals from. Audio too maybe.

Pity it isn't usb3 i think it would be quite slow if used with external hard drives attached to it.

Why would you attach an external hard drive to this, rather than just using a normal USB port?

Can anyone say if these will work with Windows 7 64bit? I'm participially interested to know if the VGA output will work with 64bit.

Can you confirm that RS232 will work over this USB connection?

It would be brilliant to plug this to a laptop and forget the expensive docking station (got 1, need 2nd one now..)

Lol, 64 bit support???

Sat at a 32bit system with flawless prformance but couldnt say for 64bit I am affraid. Theres are people who havent got it all working on some OS but what that is and how they have it set up I couldnt tell you.

For the price they are a bargain though and the perfect companion for the office or home office.
