Can anyone spec me the best way to exploit the 2.66Ghz Smithfield P4 processor so it will overclock up to 3.2Ghz+

Including the processor I need 2Ghz of Ram and a motherboard which will all work well together for preferably sub £250 but could stretch a hundred maybe a bit more above.

What else will I need?

CP-116-IN Intel Pentium 4 805 Dual Core "LGA775 Smithfield" 2.66GHz (533FSB) - Retail (CP-116-IN)
£72.95 £72.95
MY-012-GS G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5300 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-5400PHU2-2GBLA) (MY-012-GS)
£99.95 £99.95
MB-116-AS Asus P5ND2 SLi nForce4 SLi (LGA775) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-116-AS)
£54.95 £54.95
Subtotal £227.85
VAT £39.88
Total £267.73

something like this, intel chipset would be better though. DFI inifinity would be worth it due to conroe support.

I also have a p805d and iam hoping to upgrade in a similar fashion, but i have a small question regarding the motherboard.

In short i seen this when i was browsing and wondered if the 805d would be affected at all.

"This motherboard used to claim it supported Pentium D 820 & 920. After various people (including myself) bought this and then discovered it only supports <3GHz dual core CPUs in single core mode."

Also what are your views on this motherboard compared to intel chipsets, does it cut the mustard? :) as i dont really want to spend £130 odds for a Asus P5WD2 Premium.

Thanks in advance

Mine is running an 805 at 3.8 ghz, was fine at 3.9 but my ram is borked :(

I did have to do a small pencil mod in order to stop vdroop though
