I don't get all the hate for either Theophany or Magnolia, or indeed the threads they create...they are often irreverent, satirical and funny and if people don't find them so or so dislike them or their content, the simple answer is...Don't read or contribute to that particular thread.

There are far more offensive and pointless nonsense in GD to get irked about rather than any of the stuff posted by the aforementioned.

I thought that, but the way he responds to people sometimes casts a very different light on his attitude (magnolia).

Thats what happens when you have no consistency. You even get banned for taking it to e-mail rather than air your dirty laundry.

Sure, I don't mean to insult you by that (genuinely). Some of your posts come across as jovial trolling, to get idiots to make themselves look like idiots, and others come across as argument bait for whatever reason.

It's my personal opinion of you based on what you have directly posted on here. If you feel offended by it then perhaps you should think how your posts is perceived by others.

Example, It's doesn't matter if Foxeye is actually a furry or not. I haven't directly seen him admit to it and he's a bigger man than you for ignoring your goading and your constant assistance that he is, along with that vile little montage picture you posted about him verges on bullying.

Theropany at least doesn't try to pick on anyone and his drunk posting comes off an innocent rumbling then your subversive dribble that you call posting. So I put him in a far higher regard then you
 
Thing is, when someone posts a new thread, it says their name under the thread title. This can often help you to decide whether you want to read or skip a thread.

I think everyone contributes to the forums, and it is handy that if you see a certain name you can expect it may not be to your tastes so you can skip it.

Theo is a good chap at the end of the day, so is Mags, it's only a forum, you can skip things, it's not like they are running up into your face and shouting their posts at you non-stop!

ITT: People who need to stop delving too deeply into stuff that doesn't require it and stuff they don't really understand.

Thank you, that's given me something to have a think about.

One of the things this forum is not is mean. We are not mean people saying nasty stuff, it's not a behaviour type we show nor would it be allowed if it were shown. Sometimes we push buttons - intentionally or unintentionally doesn't really matter - but I still think all of us are what you would consider 'good people'.

GD is interesting in that it almost has its own rules. We're allowed to explore things of varying importance both to the author as well as the reader and the mods generally have a very light touch and only step in when we do something truly stupid, to pull this ramble back to the OP.

But we're not mean. We poke and tease and sometimes pull the pigtails but I hope we do it with a bit of compassion and a knowing nod to the recipient.

It's just a bit of a laugh really, a forum needs characters just like any soap.

You've crossed the line in Foxeye's thread about cats in my opinion. When you posted that picture it wasn't poking and teasing it was mean.

As I said, Foxeye ignored it and he's a bigger man than you for that
