The Bourne Ultimatum

Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass deliver an action blockbuster with brawn and brains. Whether it's the final chapter or not remains to be seen.

Sums it up, an awesome film, cleverly written with good underlying story, saw it last night and im as impressed with this as the 2 previous films.

One thing that leaps out at you is, clever intelligent films that make you think and follow the plot, along with outstanding action sequences............maybe just maybe hollywood will standup and take note, were all fed up of super dumb films with nice special effects, its about time writers started working for there money, and the brains and production team behind ultimatum figured this out

Move over 007, your old, bournes where its at :D

Sorry its thread revival but I only just saw it ! :D

Out of every film ever made, this is the most deserving of a thread revival.

Easily, EASILY the best film I've ever seen.

The question to ask yourself though is:

Is there a more complete film trilogy?

Can only really think LOTR comes close...

The following were written by Eric Van Lustbader after Robert Ludlum died in 2001:-

The Bourne Legacy (2004)
The Bourne Betrayal (2007)

Matt Damon is up for them as long as Paul Greengrass will direct them both.

*soils himself*
ooh I hope they're made. I have to say that the bourne trilogy is only nearly matched by the e.g. LOTR stuff as far as I can remember. All really good films on their own etc etc...

Too slow GreenLizard0 (see first page too :p;))

Those 2 hopefully dont get made - they are really really bad books from what Ive heard - Id prefer the Bourne series to end on a high and if theres a need to utilise those books to make a spin-off TV series...

As they say - always make them wanting more...
