I remember this film getting pretty negative reviews back in the day..

Back when I first saw it I was young and had not long seen Jim Carrey in other random stuff, so I remember expecting more slapstic kinda comedy.

I think I missed the darkness to it all.

Im watching it now, Im about 40 mins in and Jim Carrey is awesome in it, creepy as hell.

Whaddya think of it?

I thought it was Rubbish actually left the movie theatre part way through it was that bad - a hardcore thing to do for a poor student!

I think this may partly be due to people expecting Dumb and Dumber / Ace Ventura stuff.

this is the second or third time Ive seen it and I cant get over how well Carrey plays his part. very eerie.

Btw, if you like Jim Carey, watch Man on the moon, very underrated film.

Yeah the Andy Kaufman film, ive seen that, hes great fighting a woman in that film if i remember right
