Ok some said the AG tyre dressing doesn't last too long, well I applied mine start of the week and today a week later looks better even after it has set into the tyre walls. It's rained on and off and rained big time yesterday and even so looks like this:

Wifes Clio 172 has OZ Superleggero alloys and whilst they are in pretty good

condition, i would like to add some form of protection/sealant to them.

Also what would you suggest for sorting out the insides? there must be a whole load of brake dust damage behind there i would imagine.

AutoSmart Tardis. They dont come cheap or in small portions but they are amazing when you want them to get rid of breakdust and tar. Check out Detailingworld to see shots of them in action!

Having read through this thread and a few others i have started compiling my "new" cleaning kit.

So far i have

Meguiars #16 Paste Wax
Poorboys Wheel sealant
Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towel
Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo
.

I now need a Claybar,either a kit or individual bar/lube :)

Was thinking of the Sonus Ultra Fine or the Meguiars Quick Clay Kit.

Suggestions please, never used a Claybar before and any input would be great.

Saw this in the other thread! Seeing as I have pretty much the same car, may I ask what you used to get it like that? I Think I've picked out some decent kit for payday, but it can't hurt to ask!

Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. And some buffing pads/towels from Halfords.

:)

I was expecting to have to use some red colour restorer but the SRP did a fantastic job of turning pink into red :)

Add some applicator pads to your kit, very useful.

cleaned my motor at the weekend.

Hosed it
Flash Car washed it
Pressure washed it
Cleaned with 2 buckets and lambswool mit
Flash dryed it + finnished off with a microfibre
SRP
EGP (maybe pointless if waxing ontop but its quick to do and gives chance for a meal)
Colinite 901
WD40 on black trim to remove excess wax and temp nice finnish, will clean and black them this weekend
Virosol on alloys then waxed with spray wax.

I feel dirty putting in all that effort, but it looks great and i have never seen water bead so well (much better than my old megs nxt wax or tutle wax)

Anyone recommend a decent duster for the dash etc? I have a nice skin problem which means my car gets dusted up pretty sharpish and wouldn't mind something that trapped the dust rather than move it. Cheers :)
