That should be the official definition of Christmas. They should update the Bible to that effect, making sure to include the line "Holidays are coming...Holidays are coming".Glad there are 2 of us who think that

Catapult is too good for anyone talking Christmas now. I reckon we have a competition to decide on a punishment worse than death for it.
Mind you, talking about it now isn't as bad as some shops I've seen...which have had their Christmas stock in since AUGUST! FFS! Alongside the "Back to School" displays no less!!
Edit...and while we're on the subject...
A hotel I stayed in during the first week of October was completely decked out for it....fake snow on the windows, decorated tree in reception, tinsel everywhere, massive sleigh with Santa model inside the front door! Come ON, tis waaaaay to early for all that!

My god I've never read a thread with so many Daily Mail readers banging on about how Christmas is getting earlier every year.
Who really gives a crap I love Xmas, not for the event itself but it means the Ski season starts and I can have 7 days on the slope.

My lad was born christmas eve last year and spent 2 months in hospital. So really looking forward to it this year as no turkey last year

Not for me, I've only just become a parent and even before that I've always looked forward to and loved xmas from build up to end.
The majority of the people I interact with are really happy and socialble this time of the year. Big family gatherings and drinking. I love it.
The gift buying, the food, the drink and the time off.
Anyway it's defo xmas, DFS AD on tv have just announced their sale with guarenteed xmas delivery
