bit of a random question..
if you have oak style kitchen doors is inside the cupboard the same style as outside or is it white and what would you prefer

just getting my kitchen done via b&q and the bits have been delivered
i have oak style doors but the inside is white
not sure i like that tbh id prefer it all the same style but it seems all kitchens are like that these days with the white internals

changing it will delay my kitchen by two weeks not sure if i will

i guess one of the benefits is afew years down the line if you want to change the style you only need to change the doors and not worry about the inside matching up

We've had both over the years though now got cream inside and out can't say I've really cared either way personally - I think it will depend more on the overall look and style of the kitchen how well it will work.

i have major OCD and i know each time i open the cupboard to get a glass or plate it will annoy me
im going to take the 2 week hit and go for oak effect inside and out

Same colour carcasses ad the doors. Makes it look more bespoke.. MFI used to do a black gloss kitchen with white inside...Thats all I could see in between every door and drawer unit..

Not quite finished but finished enough for nearly 30 guests xmas dinner

Lens has distorted the shot the island is 1.2m wide

White inside! Makes it look way more clean and light. Easier to see any dirt too.

Sounds about right to me, cupboards by their very nature are likely to have restricted lighting so being white will help reflect the light. By comparison e.g. a sideboard tends to be quite dingy inside. but they tend to be less frequently accessed.

We had a choice of internal finishes and edge colours. Our kitchen is cream we have oak interiors and cream edges and it looks great to my eye. White interiors are standard but as someone else said coloured or wood effect looks more bespoke. If lack of light is a concern get some lights in the cupboards it is easy and cheap in the grand scheme of kitchens!

I know on diy kitchens you can amend them. I would expect B&Q to be white as it's a fairly cheap place? (in terms of quality anyways...)

Another DIY Kitchens customer here so my cupboards are virtually the same colour as my doors. Graphite makes them pretty murky inside though! :D

I've got an aluminium internal in our current kitchen and the new kitchen will be a light grey to match the doors.

I went oak carcasses to be a closer match to solid oak worktops. My concern with white is that it is going to get irreversibly dirty sooner (a bit like having a white carpet or white trainers).

I have chosen a kitchen from DIY cream (alabaster) with solid wood worktop and then white carcasses they have said they advise alabaster carcasses now not sure any advice

I replaced loads of perfectly good carcasses with off white beige interiors to get white interiors. The off white just looked ancient and dirty to me.
