What was wrong with it?

"Awkward drive mechanics, they feel too arcadey I mean stupidly arcadey not good. The graphics feel better placed for PS3, The story makes no logical sense and the voice acting is lazy"

It's an arcade game. What on earth did you expect?

I was " quoting " what one of the beta testers had said.
I'm hoping for a new version of TDU, if it's anything like that I'll be all over it.

I played the Xbone beta this morning and it's really bad, the graphics are terrible, no better than a 360 and there was one point at the start of the second race where it was panning into the city and it honestly looked like something from a PS2!

The handling is terrible and often feels like your input has no relevance, I was actually fed up by the first race when a police truck that had gone onto its rook still managed to have control and ram into me... shocking.

DAIR "IT'S AN ARCADE GAME, WHAT ON EARTH DID YOU EXPECT....." won't like that^^^^


I'm still hopeful though.

I feel embarrassed I liked it now lol.

Its a huge game and there's always stuff to do, that's what appealed to me. Also I got used to how it handled and it was fine.

If you take it for what it is, an arcade racer, then it can be a laugh with others. I played the pc beta and got to the level cap (10).

As said already I liked TDU, I'm hoping for a new version of that..I think i'll prob like "The Crew" too

It just took me 8 minutes to drive 20 game km's. That was flat balls out all the way. If it's 160km from east to west coast, that's 1 hour and 4 minutes at top speed.

That's impressive..so much bigger than TDU

TDU was great...just meeting up with mates and driving about relaxing with a beer while talking crap.

I was still enjoying TDU 1 ..right up to the day they pulled the servers

Had TDU2 but it wasn't as good imho

LOL Thruxton was always a swearathon when snap oversteer decided to turn up on those sweeping bends...

That chicane before the finish line was such a brilliant place to pass too - man I'd like to drive Thruxton in real life

I have, on two wheels and four....fast, wide and bumpy.

I got rid of two games i'll never touch again for it.
So it has cost me nothing.

4hrs in and now Lvl 4 with 90 miles driven. Good fun game, glad I gave it a try
