So preloading now .... Like a tit I pre ordered but the community I game with has in its enitrety bought it . So sheep comments welcome haha :p

Did they say they ever implemented a 60fps switch after they said they where looking into it ?

What are people's thoughts on the product thus far ... Have played the PC betas and the Xbox one beta briefly but in the .ini file once changed to 60fps it ran uber smooth maxed out at 1080p but every other Minuite in hangs so we will see if they've fixed that
 
I dont understand why anyone would want this game. The previews have been atrocious and it reeks of a launch title with the way the game has been made.
This is a bad year for Ubisoft so far and this release will be no different.

Were a pretty big bunch of gamers so finding common ground on new releases to play together is a pain in the arse... This & GTA are pretty much the only ones we decided on months and months ago ( befor the main ubi crap hit the shops ) and playing the beta is was relatively stable bar the networking for the first beta.
 
Hey c'mon. We should have all pre-ordered by now, maybe even splashed out on the collectors edition. Hell I've bought two already, and I don't even know what it is.
 
Have it on pre-order but not received a key yet :mad: (simplycdkeys) I'm looking forward to playing it.

Good to know they have not locked out dual core cpus (farcry 4....) and there is no 30 fps limit on the pc version.
 
Enjoyed what I managed to play of the PC beta which was pretty much 50 minutes worth once I'd managed to download it. Had no issues with it other than my rubbish internet :p

Not looking for a driving simulation, just a game where I can explore, customise cars a bit and chill out. I wish someone would just release a new version of the original Test Drive Unlimited (not TDU2) because that was my favourite driving game of all time, I'd still be playing it now if the servers hadn't been switched off :(
 
I kind of want it badly. REALLY badly. Worth £22? I loved the beta and hope it's improved enough to drop that cash on it. Any idea about unlock times?
 
So I'm preloaded on Uplay (bought a Nvidia code), can't access the game untill tomorrow.

One of my mates bought the game on CDkeys and has been playing all day.

WTF?
 
I think it looks ace. I loved NFS: Underground back in the day and this looks like that but more modern.
 
Maybe he is using a vpn? Servers are up and walkthroughs are hitting youtube allready.
I'm still waiting on my key....so much for 24-48hrs before release to enable you to preload.
 
just looks like need for speed online which has been out for few years now and free. then you had burnout paradise which was ace but aging now.

cant see this game doing anything.

ubisoft are hated as it is and half and half game cant see many buying it on pc.

No, not using a VPN. It has just worked, Ubisoft have said the servers are up and playable today but digital pre-orders are not available to play today :confused:
 
My key from simplycdkeys came through, and it was for the special street edition, result!
No mention of it being the special edition on the page but I think £24.99 is a great price for this edition (early car unlock and some cosmetic stuff)
Could always call to confirm all copies sent out will be street edition.

Pre-loading now, 16gb
 
For fans of things like TDU, TDU:2 etc. then this seems like a really good game. I basically wacked an XboxOne pad in, set the handling mode to 'Sport' and it plays really nice.

Quite pleased with how well it runs on PC, especially after playing one of the early beta's when it was locked at 30FPS. Now you can play at 60 and with everything maxed out it runs sweet as anything on my system. Ubisoft seem to come in for a lot of stick for their PC games recently, but from what I've seen so far they seem to have actually done a pretty good job with this one, early days yet though.

Also purchased from CDkeys and am able to play already too - not using VPN.

I also appear to have the season pass attached to the game. :)
