The Cube!

cube:
giant minecraft dirt cube on the ground

ladder:
leaning against the middle of the cube, going all the way to the top

storm:
your classic thunder + lightning storm covering the cube, but not much else

horse
standing on top of the cloud, taking a dump.

flowers
a couple of flowers on the horses head

conclusion:
i'm so unimaginative that i just plonk the next thing i have to imagine on top of the previous. i'm also childish, because the horse is taking a dump

CUBE

It's half buried in the sand at an angle, it's quite shiny and is catching the powerful sun on it's metal supports. The bulk of the cubes sides are made up of glass, or some kind of see through plastic. The cube looks very durable but is scratched and battered. It has some pannels missing and looks like it has fallen from the sky. It looks very hot and claustrophobic inside. It's sides are about 2m long.

LADDER

The ladder is a dark colour. It's made of wood, and it looks old and well used. it is positioned about 1 metre away from the robust cube. It appears to be burried in the sand, and there are only 2 steps visible. I don't know how long the ladder is under the sand.

STORM

The storm is distant, and in the foreground of the robust cube and the well used ladder. It is a heavy storm and it is coming this way. In fact, it has started raining and the ladder and cube are both soaking wet. The storm is coming.

HORSE

The horse can be seen in the distance, It is running at full speed directly towards the cube and ladder and appears to be running directly from the storm. It looks very powerful. It has a black saddle but there is nobody on it. Although it is running from the storm, it doesn't look scared, but instead in complete control and dominant. It appears to be running to the rescue of the ladder and cube as the storm closes in. It brings with it hope.

FLOWER

My attention fixed upon the distant raging horse, I am suddenly startled by a glance of colour in the corner of my eye. My eyes adjust and I see a small red poppy growing in the sand which is inside of the cube. It is dripping wet, but shines with an almost unrelenting portrayal of hope and sanctuary. Suddenly, nothing else matters. The horse is nowhere to be seen, the storm fades into the air, the ladder has sunk further into the sand until it is no longer there, and the cube has disintegrated around the poppy, and the pieces sunk into the sand. The poppy is all that remains in the sandy world of nothing'ness.

That was actually quite fun :) Think I may have put too much into it though lol.

The cube is small, but not to small, about the size of two footballs, it is white, with silver markings, and quite light to pick up. It is sitting on the floor, slightly burried by the sand.

The ladder is close to the cube, standing up (somehow) in the sand, and ascending into the clouds, it is a metal ladder.

The storm replaces the clouds the ladder is going into, though it is a small and not very violent storm, that is located only above the ladder.

The horse is black, and simply standing next to the cube, hair swaying in the wind.

The flows are large grey daisies, they are growing all around the cube, and accross the sand that I can see.

No idea what it all means, but there you go!

Jcb33.

The Cube

Its glass, it sits on the ground. Inside the cube it's made up of 6 pyramids, sort of hard to describe. Like there are triangular pieces of glass inside the cube. It's about 1-2 foot square, not too big but not tiny either. It's very shiny and reflective and reflecting the sun.

The Ladder

Its standing up right, next to the cube. It's supported by nothing. Its made out of a dark wood, maybe oak? Pretty old, I can see the wood streaks and knots.

The Storm

The storm is in the sky. It's an electrical storm, with lots of lightning, dark clouds, very thunderous. Covers the whole sky. Lightning keeps striking the ground.

The Horse

The horse is standing upright, almost like a wooden horse. It's standing diagonal to the cube, facing one of the corners. The nose is exactly parallel to the ground. Its brown with white spots.

I completely missed the flowers part, it wasn't until reading the explanation that I realised I missed them out. :( Figured it'd be cheating to go back!

The cube is about the size of a house, bang in the middle of the desert which for some reason is at night. The cube looks like one of the wooden crates from crash bandicoot

The ladder is propped up against the cube. and goes to the top

the storm is over the cube

the horse is standing on top of the cube, the horse is the retarded one from family guy.

the horse is eating the flowers.

A large black cube, taller than me and completely smooth is on the ground.

A metal sliding ladder is leaned up against the side of the cube so you can climb to the top.

Heavy rain and lightning can be seen off in the distance but is moving closer.

A completely white horse is walking around the base of the cube, but away from the ladder.

A few yellow daffodils are scattered around but none grow near the cube.

I quite enjoyed that, an interesting little game anyway - the worries thing made me chuckle as I'm nearly always unworried about things, but will be losing my job at some point in the next month or so (the storm approaches!).

Also loving some of the responses so far - theDudes significant other is going to eat their children it seems.

Well, I've been playing a lot of Minecraft today so I think mine looks like it as a consequence....I recreated what I could. In addition, my clouds were purple, covering most of the sky with some lightening and then i had a black horses just wandering around the block. The block is diamond.

The cube is on the ground about the size of a large car, maybe 2 or 3 metres to an edge. chrome silver reflecting the desert and sky, with fine, light lines in straight lines scratched into the surface.
The ladder is wooden and quite tall. it lean against the cube reaching into the sky, at least twice as tall as the cube.
The storm is dark, with lightening strikes. It is far away on the horizon and moving slowly, remaining on the horizon, not getting nearer or further away. The sound of thunder can be heard faintly.
The horse is smaller than the cube and stood beside it looking up at the cube, smiling, content. it is brown and friendly, but it is it's own horse!
The flowes are yellow, close to the ground, and numerous. they cluster around the cube thinning as they get further from it. they are soft and gentle, providing a pleasent scent.

I think that fits quite well, confident of myself, but not bigheaded, and honest, reflecting what goes on around me. My ambitions and expectations are fairly high, but not out of this world or unobtainable. I try not to worry overly much, but I am aware of my responsibilities so the storm seems just right! My girlfriend is a pretty strong character, defineately her own horse.. err.. person!! And we don't have any kids, and don't plan to have loads so not sure about the flower part...

Fun :)

Cube, big, hovering a few feet off the ground, rainbow coloured, gridlike sections inside.
Ladder, metalic, propped against and rising to just above the cube, at the perfect climbing angle.
Storm, black clouds, lightning, around the same height as the top of the ladder and cube, though miles in the distance, not moving.
Horse, small, white, with saddle, is a short distance behind the cube and ladder. Seems like a young persons horse, feel nice about it.
Flowers, Daffodils, in bunches growing from the desert.

The cube is matt red in colour with a very even finish so you can't see inside. It is about the size of a double bed, perhaps a little smaller sitting on the ground.

The ladder is lying to the right next to the cube pointing into the distance. It is metal and about 3m long.

The storm is well in the distance. A few dark clouds and brooding but no chance of reaching my location.

The horse is black with a white stripe on its head. It stands close to the cube on the left. It's not doing anything too remarkable, standing and waiting by the cube.

The flowers are in a vase on top of the cube. A pretty bunch in a simple vase.

I suppose the whole scene looks like a Dali painting!

I wrote stacks...

THE CUBE is large, seethrough and on the ground, at the very least 10ftx10ftx10ft. I think this means I am quite vain, and that either I find it easy to "see through" to my real personality and who I really am, or it could in fact indicate the opposite, that I can't really "see" anything at all, I'm just looking through myself. Deceiving myself, not sure of who I really am.

THE LADDER is leaning up against the cube to the right of my scene, leading to the top, extendable and metal. I think this means that my ambitions are linked to who I am as a person, that one of my biggest true ambitions is to conquer myself, whatever that may be. To know myself, to become a master of me so to speak.

THE STORM is electrical, and covered the entire scene. I could see lightning in the distance and hear thunder. There wasn't any real noticeable wind. I think this means that my problems tend to overarch all aspects of my life, that I find it hard to block them out and they affect everything. The fact that the storm is electrical means that I at times focus intently on one problem, or that it stands out beyond all others as "the issue" of the time. It's not moving anywhere, it's staying there.

THE HORSE is brown, further away from my point of view than the cube, running from the left of the scene to the right, looking towards the point from where I am viewing (looking at me). It is running, just about to pass behind the cube. I like the horse, I want it to stay.

THE FLOWERS are very numerous, a huge amount of them growing out of the ground and spread throughout the scene, behind everything mentioned (apart from THE STORM), and were of varying colours. I think this means that as with THE STORM, my "children" or any things that I create overarch everything, and become the backdrop for the rest of my existence. I think the varying colours means I don't want to create carbon copies of things, that I like to put my own spin on my creations. The fact that they're growing out of the ground I think means that as with THE CUBE, they are in touch with reality, things that I can realistically create. I like the flowers, they seem really nice and bring a bit of serenity to the whole scene.

Thanks for this Nitefly, I feel like I'm pretty sorted. You however, are totally messed up!

MY CUBE:
My cube about 2 feet cubed (obviously) was very dark grey and metallic.

Dark and hard personality? Doesn't sound like me. :(

MY LADDER:My ladder was a few yard behind the cube and going up (but wasn't leaning against anything).

Ambitious but fear failure (due to unsecure ladder)? Probably :D

MY STORM:
A twister on the horizon.

Hmmm...problems short and isolated but destructive and I like to keep them at a distance? Maybe ;)

MY HORSE:
Black horse standing next to the cube looking straight at me. Looks friendly.

Not sure what that means.

MY FLOWERS:

On a flowering cactus.

Probably means I want kids but terified of them. Sounds spot on :D

Small white cube in the middle of the picture on the floor. Ladder laying infront of it flat on the ground. Grey clouds in the sky above, horse stands to the right of the cube with the flowers on its head (probably meaning give the kids to the misses! or that i hope they are more like her than me) ;) My flowers looked like the lego ones you get.

The horse is the only thing that gives my picture size prespective, nothing else had a size until it came along, its the normal height of a horse. The cub is small compaired to it.

Nothing had very much detail to it, guess thats my impatience coming through.

Well I'm glad some of you enjoyed it, I wanted to be slightly more active in the thread but since I posted this I've been sick all night with some sort of food poisoning, so cannot really be bothered to do much further analysis at this second :p :(

I thought this was a chat up "technique" that comes from "The Game" book. A few of my mates have tried and failed with this many times, but it's often funny to watch them try. :D

In those circumstances, you can tweak it depending on what you want out of the situation... apparently...
