The Culling

Lol glad I'm not the only one who sucks at this game :D.

Think I'll wait for private sessions before I play again. Think it'll be much more fun with a group of mates.

might have to jump on this - have 70 odd quid sitting burning a hole in my steam wallet (thank you csgo and your stupid skins and even stupider kids that buy them!:p) if you fancy co-oping?

played last night.

Seems like a good concept, but needs a bit more work.

They only have servers in america and max 2 people per team (which is understandable, but means you cant get a "few" friends in 1 game).

:D well I'd be happy to be your partner for the 5minutes before I inevitably die and leave you to fend for yourself.

Have they said private sessions will be coming?

Not yet but I cant imagine they wont.

Just got the game. Combat system/animations need a little work.

Also what is up with the default mouse sensitivity?

Bought this yesterday, was hoping to play last night, but the GF wanted to watch a film together :p

Maybe tonight or tomorrow I have a day off - any tips for a noob? :D

Tried it a few days back. Two games and kinds bored of it now. Got to final 2 pairs but it really doesn't feel skilful at all. A lot of melee that requires no aiming etc. Game is pretty much camp back gathering until you get armour and an OP weapon/trader then go fight end battle at centre. Fun for a game or two but once you have done it once I don't know where the replayability would be.

I have been watching Soviet Womble playing this on twitch and it looks great. Reviews on steam are looking good so far as well.

I think the replayability comes with playing about with different loadouts and tactics. I think they should do away with the guns as these do sometimes decide the match and make the game more about luck than skill. Although being able to disarm them does even the odds a bit.

yep got a refund ;)

will pick up when a fiver maybe :p

Been playing this quite a bit, really enjoying it so far! Liking the rock/paper/scissors style combat with the attack/block/push mechanics.

The animations etc need work, and I reckon it could do with a bit more variation in the weapons, but it's a good laugh and the rounds are so quick that it's fun to jump into when you've only got half an hour or so to play.

Had one game where it was down to the last 3 and me and another guy managed to double KO each other :p

It's pretty hard, the combat part, hard to remember to power up attacks in the heat of battle, need to learn how to craft blow guns and guns deffo ruin it a bit although if i find one i won't be sying that :D

I found the blow guns pretty sucky, and I've not encountered anyone with a gun in a single match so far ( maybe I just don't survive long enough :p)

The bow is half decent though, and quite easy to make:

Rock + rock = knife
Knife + stick = spear
Spear + stick = bow

Good thing about the blow guns is while they are being sick you can get a couple of full power shots in with a weapon.

Finally won a game the other day with a random 2v2 partner. It's a shame there's no end splash screen with stats etc, or maybe it just crashed to main menu after we killed the last one.

What a peoples strategies?
