*** The Custom ROM Thread (Any device) ***

I no longer use custom ROMs because of the SafetyNet API, there are ways around it but it's pretty much a heavy game of cat and mouse so I got fed up with it and stuck with stock.

I recently flashed Pixel Experience on my old OP2 however, and it's a very stable ROM. Currently using it for photospheres as there's an issue doing those on my XZP for some reason.
 
Used to flash/root all my Android mobiles, but for the last few years i haven't felt the need, as most mobile companies now days tend to keep the ROM light and as close to stock as possible, with Nova Launcher etc on top it keeps things as i would like and enough control.

Does flashing a ROM on the newer phones like the Samsung S8/S9/S10 etc still trip things like KNOX, if this is tripped from installing a ROM/Root it will stop apps such as Online Banking apps from working, or is that worked around now ?
 
Anything fun I can do with my S7 Edge? Install Pixel gcam and such maybe?

EDIT: no root required, was easy as pie to install, some interesting results.

Anyone waiting to see what the Pixel 4 is like for custom ROM development? From my research custom ROM development is significantly easier on Pixel devices compared to other manufacturers phones.
